Pick up your AchenseeCard and enjoy fabulous experiences during your holiday at Lake Achensee! The AchenseeCard is a free visitor card that you receive from your accommodation provider upon arrival. Take advantage of numerous offers and discounts in the Achensee region and beyond. With the AchenseeCard, you can also purchase Achensee Holiday Card, which allows you to explore the best of Lake Achensee at a very favourable all-inclusive price.

  • Validity of the AchenseeCard: Visitors can take advantage of the AchenseeCard at the regular seasonal opening times of businesses and attractions.
  • AchenseeCard goes digital: AchenseeCard goes digital: Many accommodation providers in the Achensee region now offer the visitor card digitally as a MobileCard and send it to you by email. This is not only convenient but also helps to save paper and protect the environment. Another way to receive the AchenseeCard digitally is through our digital holiday companion myAchensee. This free tool gives you all the information you need at a glance: routes, destinations, events, the AchenseeCard and much more. Of course, you can still get a printed version of the visitor card when you check in at your accommodation.

Free inclusive services and attractions in the Achensee region

The AchenseeCard is your free bus ticket on our regional buses. Simply show it to the driver when you get on the bus, and you can start exploring the region. When you arrive at Jenbach train station, buses to your final destination are also free with a booking confirmation.

Located in the middle of nature, the innovative architecture of the visitor centre is certainly an eye-catcher. In the museum, you can delve into the history and peculiarities of the Nature Park Karwendel, which is Austria’s largest nature park.

The cross-country ski trails in Achenkirch, Maurach, Steinberg, and Wiesing are free for use without an AchenseeCard. The cross-country ski trails in Pertisau and the Karwendel valleys are usually subject to a charge; with the AchenseeCard you can use the tracks free of charge.
