What makes us special? It's very simple: centrally located, the mountains and Lake Achensee (almost) on your doorstep. Lovingly furnished and with more than just the necessary equipment. You can arrive relaxed and simply feel at home in the newly renovated Dorfapartment right from the start.

Our apartment is located in the center of Maurach. Shops such as supermarkets, a bakery and a butcher as well as many restaurants and cafés are only a few minutes away.

For those who are motivated to move and those looking for relaxation. Whether as a single, as a couple or with family and friends in your luggage. We are the perfect starting point for your hike or bike tour in the Achensee mountains, just a few minutes walk to the Rofan ski area or you can go cross-country skiing after just a 3 minutes walk.

The bus stop for the public and ski bus is right next to the house.

Since summer 2021 we offer you a small part of our 120 year old house in the village center of Maurach - our newly renovated Dorfapartment.

As locals we are happy to be there with insider knowledge & tips for your experiences at Lake Achensee and always have an open ear for wishes and concerns during your stay in the region.

Our Dorfapartment Achensee is located in Dorfstraße 12, 6212 Maurach in a large, yellowish house with a drugstore and a sports store on the ground floor.

Via the Inntal freeway A12 (toll sticker required), exit Wiesing/Achensee, Achensee-Bundesstraße B181 you reach the center of Maurach after 7 kilometers.

It is also possible to travel toll-free via the Achenpass or Bad Tölz. From Munich to the highway exit Holzkirchen, Tegernsee, Achenpass or Bad Tölz - over the state border via Achenkirch further to Maurach.

Arrival by public transport: By train to Jenbach train station. From there take the public bus to Achensee. Check the bus timetable www.vvt.at. The arrival to the Achensee is free of charge by showing your reservation confirmation.

The nearest airports are Innsbruck (approx. 50km), Munich (approx. 140km) and Salzburg (approx. 150km). Transfers from the airports Innsbruck, Salzburg or Munich can be ordered at: Taxi Kröll in Maurach, Tel. +43(5243)43280 - www.taxikroell.com or at the airport transfer service Four Seasons Travel - bookable online at www.tirol-taxi.at.
