Bärenbadalm
The Bärenbadalm is a popular stopover for hikers and mountain bikers. The rustic mountain hut with its large terrace 1,457 meters above sea leveloffers homestyle cooking, snacks, and delicious homemade cakes.
This part of the hut was built about 200 years ago, the stable building in 2014. The hut has 113 hectares of alpine pasture where 20 dairy cows and 15 young cattle graze. The milk is delivered to the dairy, but some of it is also processed directly at the hut. The alpine landscape is the result of centuries of agricultural activity, and to preserve it, the owners of the Bärenbadalm place great importance on sustainability and landscape protection.
