Spring is here and it's time again to clear our region around Lake Achensee of unwanted rubbish and protect the environment together. Every piece of rubbish that is removed from the roads, hiking trails and forests helps to make our environment more beautiful and safer.
The waste collection campaign is organised in cooperation with Naturpatk Karwendel and the municipalities of Eben, Achenkirch, Steinberg and Wiesing.

Bin bags, bin tongs and/or gloves are available at the collection points.
- Welcome-CENTER Achensee in Maurach
- Eben municipal office (post office)
- Information offices in the region (Achenkirch, Pertisau and Wiesing)
- Steinberg municipal office
Delivery point:
- Achenkirch: At the container at the car park in front of the municipality/TVB
- Maurach & Pertisau: The full rubbish bag can be deposited at all dog toilets in both villages.
- Steinberg: Place the rubbish bag next to the road in the village where it is clearly visible.
- Wiesing: Deposit the rubbish bag clearly visible at the roadside in the village or at the beginning of the Astenberg.
