Boat license Achensee - monthly license 2024
The use of a boat on Lake Achensee, with the exception of rowing boats, is only possible with a valid boat license. Lake Achensee is one of the windiest lakes in Austria, with strong gusts from Bavaria even reaching wind force five on some days. The use of boats, with the exception of rowing boats, is only permitted on Lake Achensee with a valid weekly, monthly or seasonal license. Boats with a seasonal license must also have a sticker, which can be obtained from the Achensee Welcome Center (Achenseestraße 63, 6212 Maurach, opening hours daily 8:00 to 18:00), visibly attached to the transom of the boat on presentation of the ticket available here. By purchasing the weekly, monthly or seasonal license, you agree to the terms and conditions without exception. ATTENTION for all BOAT OWNERS: the purchase of a seasonal license including a buoy license is automatically required by the lake administration. A purchase of this product (seasonal license boat) is not necessary in this case! ATTENTION: In Tyrol, only electric motors with a propulsive power of up to 2200 watts are permitted by law! Internal combustion engines are completely prohibited!
