At the Achensee via ferrata camp, both beginners and advanced can learn about planning, technique, equipment and much more, and are accompanied by state-certified mountain and ski guides.
ITINERARY
Friday, 13 June
- 08.30 Introduction of participants & division into small groups at Hotel Klingler in Maurach
- 09.30 Safe on the cia ferrata: equipment check and first experience on the Christlumsiedlung via ferrata
- Approx. 13.00 Refreshment stop
- 14.00 Practice of the correct technique on a via ferrata in the region
- Followed by check-in at Hotel Klingler in Maurach
- 18.30 Group dinner
- 20.30 Lecture on equipment & alpine safety
Saturday, 14 June
- 07.30 Group breakfast
- 08.30 Ascent with the Rofan cable car in Maurach, followed by a hike to the Achensee 5-peak via ferrata with technical exercises, tips and tricks and information about the proper conduct in the mountains
- Followed by a stop for refreshments at a mountain hut
- 18.30 Group dinner
- 20.30 Tour planning
Sunday, 15 June
- 07.30 Group breakfast
- 08.30 Final tour: Correct behaviour in and with nature
- Approx. 16.00 Return to hotel and individual departure
Participants will receive the detailed schedule and packing list by email before the camp. The schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions.

Appropriate fitness level, head for heights. Suitable for beginners and advanced climbers. Courses will be held in German, advanced language skills required.
