Golf- und Landclub Achensee
The 18-hole golf course in Pertisau is a gem of a course, beautifully located in the vicinity of Tirol’s largest lake. It’s a member of the „Leading Golf Courses of Austria“ and was named “golf club of the year 2020” by the association “Golf in Austria”. Despite its altitude of ca. 1,000 metres, the course boasts gentle fairways but in terms of difficulty ranks among the “demanding” courses. The covered driving range is perfect to practice your golf swing. Afterwards, round off the day with drinks and refreshments in the pleasant atmosphere of the golf club’s restaurant.
At the nearby Hotel Wiesenhof, you can play golf even if bad weather prevents you from getting out on the course. Two golf simulators provide a virtual golf environment, analysing your strokes and giving tips to improve your game.
Golfclub Posthotel Alpengolf
The “Golfclub Posthotel Alpengolf“, which is owned by the Posthotel Achenkirch, is a 9-hole golf course in a fantastic setting. Golfers pitch, chip and putt on a scenic high plateau bordering the Nature Park Karwendel. Different teeing grounds and diverse terrain provide excellent conditions for seasoned and aspiring golfers alike. In addition, you can improve your technique on the driving range. The clubhouse „Dollnhof”, a 300-year-old listed building, serves a variety of culinary delights.
Looking for a fun, small-scale round of golf with the family? The Achensee region has two minigolf courses. Enjoy a game of minigolf in Maurach or visit Austria’s first “Bergbauerngolf” course in Pertisau for a round of crazy golf where the head of the club is a boot.
