Austrian Brass Consort

With the founding of the Austrian Brass Consort in 2017, a group of young musicians is forging new paths in brass music, while returning to the origins of instrumental practice, when the individual vocal parts were played by instrumentalists and later replaced. The ensemble brings together ten orchestral musicians and instrumental educators from Austria, including the Achenkirch trombonist Andreas Lettinger.
