The Posthotel Achenkirch invites its guests on a journey to the self. The five-star hotel for adults only offers plenty of space to try out and rediscover oneself: whether it's taking lessons with the Shaolin master, promoting inner balance with the help of the doctor for traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) or regaining one's strength with the extensive range of sports on offer, including tennis, golf, squash, hiking and cycling. The hotel's Lipizzaner horses, one of the largest private breeds in Europe, are available for horseback riding encounters. The spacious water and sauna world offers 7,000 square metres of retreat and relaxation. Culinary delights include daily TCM dishes and classic Tyrolean cuisine with products from the hotel's own farm.

To ensure that your four-legged friend can enjoy your visit to Achenkirch to the fullest, the accommodation provides bowls, blankets, doggy bags and a little surprise. Inntal motorway A12 (toll sticker required), Wiesing exit, Achensee federal road B181 to Achenkirch. A toll-free journey is also possible via the Achenpass or Bad Tölz. From Munich to the Holzkirchen, Tegernsee, Achenpass or Bad Tölz motorway exit - across the state border to Achenkirch.

Arrival by public transport: By train to Jenbach train station. From there by public bus to Lake Achensee.

The closest airports are Innsbruck (approx. 50km), Munich (approx. 140km) and Salzburg (approx. 150km).

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Posthotel d’Achenkirch ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par un personnel d’une grande gentillesse, toujours souriant, disponible et aux petits soins. Leur professionnalisme contribue vraiment à rendre le séjour exceptionnel. Le spa est tout simplement magnifique : plusieurs piscines, des espaces de détente superbes et une atmosphère propice au bien-être et à la relaxation. Un véritable havre de paix où l’on se ressource pleinement. Mention spéciale également pour le petit-déjeuner, qui est tout simplement exceptionnel. Le choix est impressionnant, les produits sont frais, variés et de grande qualité. Il y en a pour tous les goûts, c’est un vrai moment de plaisir chaque matin. Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter et où nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Das Hotel ist einfach nur ein Traum. Die Zimmer groß und wunderschön.Das Frühstücksbuffet ist einzigartig sehr große Auswahl ,einfach nur Top. Das Personal alle sehr freundlich, von Kellner bis Rezeption, Spa - Bereich allen ein großes Lob. Das Hallenbad wie Schwimmbad einfach genial. Der Spa Bereich top , ich habe mir eine Shaoline Massage gegönnt und war Hammer und super. Wir hatten auch Reitstunde und auch das war genial. Fazid wir kommen wieder

Прекрасное место для любителей спа и бассейнов. Большой выбор бань и саун на любой вкус, много различных бассейнов, в том числе бассейн с соленой водой в которой чувствуешь себя невесомо. Из-за большого пространства в отеле всегда найдется свободное место для ценителей тишины. Очень спокойная атмосфера, то что нужно, чтобы перезагрузится. Мы получили огромное удовольствие от пребывания в этом отеле! На заметку будущих путешественников - за воду на ужине тоже надо платить.

Overall a very good hotel. The wellness and spa area of the hotel is one of the best I've been to so far. A large selection of relaxation areas, saunas and pools with and without water effects. The sunken temple is very impressive and a particularly good experience. There is a Finnish sauna, steam baths and saunas, a bio sauna for those who find the Finnish sauna too hot, infrared saunas, a salt room, and a Kneipp bath. Everything is at a very high level, clean and tidy, and refreshments with several types of juices and snacks are also available. The restaurant is very good, offering an excellent selection of food as part of the breakfast buffet, very good coffee. The waiters are top-notch, fast but unobtrusive. We came across two people from Croatia, Darko and Branka, who made our stay easier and helped us a lot. The underground garage with EV chargers and even a car wash is perfect. However, there are a few things I don't like. The room we stayed in, the Landhaus suite, is furnished in an old-fashioned style that I didn't like. There was a problem with the toilet, which was fixed very quickly. When it is clean but the front is not well fixed and this needs to be fixed. The rooms do not have air conditioning but this was not a big problem as the temperature dropped during the night so there was no problem sleeping. I am not sure how it is during the real summer heat. As for the bed I would have liked a little firmer and ergonomic pillows as the two we were given were too soft for me. The hotel offers a large number of organized activities from fitness, yoga to visits to the wine cellar and the like but unfortunately as our stay was short we did not get to try them. The meal schedule is not flexible enough for me and room service was not available. A minor complaint is the very early closing of the pool. Cleaning starts at 7.30pm even though daylight is available and longer. The hotel is very large but everything is well marked and connected by corridors and lifts

+ Super beautiful location - wonderfully beautiful hotel with all facilities - Super delicious food - very friendly - beautiful spacious rooms - highly recommended // the only downside was no air conditioning in the room but it was exceptionally hot // ++ there is also room here for dog lovers.

Why 5 stars? Because we think it's worth every single one. That's why we keep coming back. A big thank you to the incredibly friendly staff at reception, to Branka at the pool bar; to Petra Amit and team in the restaurant; to the riding stables for the lovely carriage ride; to Nikita in the spa; to Bogdan and George at the bar; simply thank you to everyone, including the many hard-working people behind the scenes. It's really not easy to please every guest, but you all manage it very well. Even though there were a few hiccups at dinner this time (with the meat), there was still plenty of choice, something for everyone, and everyone could leave satisfied. There's never a dull moment at the hotel itself; there are always plenty of activities on offer. For us, that's a good reason to come back; see you soon! But now we have a request for the spa guests. Everyone can read or recognize signs—please just leave your cell phones in your room and relax without them. It's truly refreshing. 👍🏿
