What’s happening at Lake Achensee?

All year round, the region offers a variety of sport camps which are ideal for those who prefer the camaraderie of like-minded individuals. The sport camps are run by professional guides who assist you in developing or honing the required skills for various sporting pursuits. Every year, thousands of sports enthusiasts meet at the end of August/beginning of September for the Karwendelmarsch and Achensee Run. The region’s cultural highlights include the Achensee.literatour and the cattle drives in autumn.  

In January, the New Year’s Eve swim marks the beginning of a series of winter events, followed by the cross-country skiing camp. There will also be camps for snowshoers and ski tourers who are looking for an immersive experience in nature. At the end of the winter season, the Achensee Ballooning Days take visitors to lofty heights. 

In addition to these highlights, the region hosts numerous smaller events, such as live concerts and theatre performances, guided tours, various courses and lectures throughout the year.
