Rental options
The region’s sport shops offer high-quality winter sports equipment to rent or buy, including cross-country skis, poles, boots, and clothing. The knowledgeable staff provide expert advice and help you find the suitable equipment.

The cross-country ski schools in the Achensee region offer professional courses and private lessons for all ability levels.
Accommodations
The Achensee holiday region offers accommodations to suit everyone: inns, pensions, holiday apartments, farm-stay holidays, and hotels from budget to 5-star. There are also five campsites for those who want to enjoy the benefits of staying outdoors in the beautiful nature surrounding Tirol’s largest lake.

Trail fees in Pertisau 2025/2026
The cross-country ski trails in Achenkirch, Maurach, Steinberg and Wiesing are free for use, no AchenseeCard is required. The use of the cross-country skiing trails in Pertisau is generally subject to a charge. The AchenseeCard (visitor card which you receive from your accommodation provider) allows free use of all cross-country ski tracks in Pertisau.
- Trail fees with the AchenseeCard: no fees apply. Parking is not included.
- Trail fees without AchenseeCard per day: EUR 12 including parking fees. Available from the car park ticket machine at the car parks Karwendeltäler and Seepromenade (from the start of the season).
- Parking only: The parking fee is EUR 1,- per half hour or part thereof, up to a maximum daily charge of EUR 10,-.
- Season tickets for cross-country skiing only: EUR 100 (passport photo & ID required). Available from the municipality office Eben in Maurach (post office) and from the attendant on site (from the end of December).
- Season ticket parking (only available in combination with the purchase of a cross-country season ticket): EUR 50. Available from the municipality office Eben in Maurach (post office) and from the attendant on site (from the end of December). Vehicle owner and season ticket holder must be the same person. Please bring a passport photo, your identiy card, and your vehicle registration.
- Children and teenagers up to the age of 15 are free of charge.
