Pertisau Discovery Trail
The Pertisau Discovery Trail invites families staying at Lake Achensee to explore the natural world around Pertisau in a fun and playful way. Along this adventure trail, which is around two kilometres long, you will find various stops featuring animals, plants and the region’s unique characteristics. With a wooden ball in your bag, you will make your way from station to station – so there’s plenty of fun to be had along the way. You will be accompanied by Wusel the water spirit, the mascot of Lake Achensee. The Discovery Trail is easy to walk and suitable for pushchairs and strollers.
How it works:
- Get a wooden ball from the dispenser at the starting point for €2 (it's best to have the coin ready) - and bring it along to play your way from station to station. To keep the games working nicely for everyone, please only use the official wooden balls and do not use stones or other objects.
Latest update: The Pertisau Discovery Trail has only just been completed. Landscaping and planting are currently underway around some of the stations – and with every passing day, the new themed trail is becoming a little more beautiful.
