Take the motorway A12 (toll sticker required), exit at Wiesing/Achensee and follow the Achensee federal road B181 until Achenkirch. Toll-free journey is possible via Achenpass or Bad Tölz. From Munich, follow the motorway and exit at Holzkirchen, then continue via Tegernsee and Achenpass or via Bad Tölz to the national border. Follow the road to Achenkirch.

Getting here by public transport: Take the train to the train station Jenbach. From here, Lake Achensee is just a short bus ride away, see bus timetables at www.vvt.at. Your reservation confirmation is your free bus ticket to Achenkirch.

The nearest airports are Innsbruck (50km), Munich (ca. 140km), and Salzburg (ca. 150km). You can pre-book transfers to and from all airports with Taxi Kröll in Maurach, Tel. +43(5243)43280, www.taxikroell.com or with the airport transfer service Four Seasons Travel Tel. +43(512)584157, www.tirol-taxi.at.

This summer, we visited Purest in Achenkirch for the third time. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, the apartments are exceptionally luxurious, and the owners are kind, thoughtful, and genuinely attentive. This year, we traveled to the Achensee with our baby daughter. Thanks to Oana's help and flexibility, we were able to borrow many baby essentials, and when we arrived, she had thoughtfully prepared even more items for our daughter. Over the years, we have stayed in three different apartments, and each one has been even more beautiful than the last. For us, arriving at Purest truly feels like the start of a relaxing and carefree holiday. We always look forward to coming back.

It was a wonderful stay at Purest on Lake Achensee. We had a whirlpool and sauna right in our apartment. Despite the bad weather, we were still able to fully enjoy our vacation. Even the large pool in the garden was heated, and swimming was possible despite the light snowfall. There was also plenty for our daughter to do: a huge selection of toys and a children's tower with slides were available. We would absolutely recommend this hideaway and will be back very soon.

I spent a significant amount of time looking for the “perfect” place to stay in the Achensee area, and I have to say I NAILED IT when selecting Purest for my family’s visit. We (family of four) rented the Penthouse, and it was even better than the property’s website and reviews depicted it. It had literally everything one could wish for in a vacation apartment- more than enough space in rooms and everywhere else, high quality furniture and outfitting, comfy beds, beautiful fireplace, great entertainment options in the room and at the property, everything worked as it should have, one of the toilets offered a heated seat and heated bidet!!! Not to mention the sparkling clean hot tub, sauna, and bathrooms. When we arrived, my son spent the first 15 min rushing from room to room exclaiming how “cool” everything was. And he was correct; truly a perfect situation here. Oh, and I haven’t even mentioned the amenities in the rest of the property: lovely heated pool, plenty of manicured lawn space for playing, sports equipment aplenty (in serviceable condition), well-equipped fitness room, onsite commissary if you don’t want to drive 5min to the market, parking immediately next to the entrance. It’s a family-run property executed at such an outstanding level that it’s hard to believe. Well, I will confirm for you, curious reader, that this place is IT!!! I only wish I’d found it sooner so I could have stayed more often. We visited in shoulder season, so we were outside when the weather was nice and on the covered/heated deck in the hot tub when it rained. Beautiful views from every angle. The location also seems suitable for mobility impaired guests as there is a lift to the guest floors and plenty of maneuvering space in the units. It will be a challenge to find anything better than this; go see for yourself ☺️

We stayed for two nights, but we already know we’d love to come back and spend more time in this magnificent place. The breakfast was excellent, both in quality and in the way it was beautifully presented. The view from the apartment was stunning, overlooking a beautiful church, and the apartment itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Everything was in great condition, and the overall design and atmosphere were truly impressive. Our host, Oana, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. We definitely recommend this place and would happily return in the future!

Man hat hier eine ganz tolle „Auszeit“, fern von Hektik, Zeitdruck und Kommerz! Man kann sich den Tag frei gestalten und tun und lassen, was man möchte. Die Appartements sind mit sehr viel Herzblut eingerichtet und man fühlt sich sehr herzlich willkommen! Es bleiben keine Wünsche offen!!! Volle Empfehlung 🫶🏻

Wir hatten das Paradise Apartment und sind absolut begeistert! ❤️ Ein familiengeführtes Haus, in dem man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen fühlt – unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Apartment ist purer Luxus und mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Alles ist extrem hochwertig – von den Terrassenmöbeln über das Bett bis hin zur stylischen Küche mit allen Utensilien. Selbst hier merkt man die Qualität mit Markengeschirr und edlem Besteck. Die Designer-Couch rundet das Ganze perfekt ab. Der Blick rundherum ist einfach traumhaft – pure Erholung! Besonders hervorzuheben sind der eigene großzügige Whirlpool mit Licht- und Massagefunktion sowie die private, geräumige Sauna mit Aufguss – einfach ein Highlight. Auch die große Terrasse lädt zum Entspannen ein. Das Frühstück kann man separat bestellen und bekommt es liebevoll mit einem Wagen direkt ins Apartment serviert – auch hier steckt so viel Liebe im Detail. Die gesamte Anlage lässt keine Wünsche offen: großer Pool, viele Spielmöglichkeiten zum Ausleihen, Tischtennisplatte, Basketballkorb und ein hochwertiges Gym. Sogar Wanderrucksäcke stehen zur Verfügung. Ein rundum perfekter Aufenthalt – wir kommen definitiv wieder! 🌟

Austria was never on our list of favorites until now, but since we stayed with the Messner family in the "PUREST", that has changed. What a great place to stay, with fantastic attention to detail and an absolute feel-good atmosphere. The penthouse was impressive with its elegance, coupled with minimalism, design and spaciousness. The fantastic view, the location and the peace and quiet that came with it allowed us to quickly escape from the stress of everyday life and "unwind". Even when the weather wasn't so great, the relaxation factor in this apartment and in the "PUREST" in general was sensational - and even the misty mountains and rain had their charm. Ms. Messner knows her craft through and through, and is always very warm, professional and courteous. It is to be highly commended that the house is not designed for quantity but for quality - if you value something special with a penchant for perfection and service, you are in absolutely perfect hands here. Finally, we would like to thank Ms. Messner for the wonderful time, for her dedication and warmth – and look forward to seeing you again soon! Austria had never been on our list of favorite destinations before, but that has changed since our stay at the Messner family's "PUREST."
