From the toll booth at the entrance to the Karwendel valleys, the route follows the upper Seebergsteig trail to the Pletzachalm. After crossing the stream bed, the route continues uphill on a steep gravel road towards the Feilalm. At the junction, a forest trail leads back to the starting point.
