Notburga Museum

St. Notburga’s relic is displayed on the high altar of the pilgrimage church in Eben and attracts many pilgrims. A humble servant who lived in the 13th century and advocated for the poor and sick, St. Notburga is considered the most beloved saint in western Austria. Visitors to the Notburga Museum can explore her inspiring story and learn about her enduring significance.

Notburga Sunday in Eben am Achensee is a traditional festival celebrated annually on the second Sunday in September in honour of St. Notburga. In 2026, the festival will take place on 13 September, with special services and festivities dedicated to her memory. On Notburga Sunday, the museum is open from 10:00 to 21:00.
