The historic Falkenhütte was carefully renovated between 2017 and 2020. Guests can enjoy a wide selection of food and drinks, served on a self-service basis. Overnight stays are possible in double rooms, shared rooms, or dormitory-style mattress rooms.

It is recommended to read the FAQ on the website before booking. There you’ll find useful information – for example, that breakfast can be booked upon arrival, dogs are not allowed for overnight stays, and there are no charging facilities for e-bikes.

The hike to Falkenhütte starts at Eng Alm on the Großer Ahornboden and takes about 2.5 hours.
From Falkenhütte, Karwendelhaus can be reached via the Kleiner Ahornboden in about 3 hours.
Lamsenjochhütte can be reached via the Großer Ahornboden and Binsalm in around 4.5 hours.
