Apartment Straninger in Maurach on Lake Achensee. Our house is located in a very quiet area in Lärchenwiese, not far from the southern shore of Lake Achensee, which, with its 8.4 km length, is the largest lake in Tyrol. The Achensee holiday region offers a variety of recreational opportunities year-round within easy reach: In winter, the Achental impresses with reliable snow conditions, which are perfect for enjoying the beautiful, extensive cross-country ski trails and also ensure optimal conditions in the three family ski resorts. In summer, the Karwendel mountain range entices with numerous hiking opportunities, and of course Lake Achensee offers boating, sailing, windsurfing, or even swimming. If the lake is too cold for you, you can visit the Atoll leisure center with an indoor pool, sauna, climbing hall, and fitness studio.
