From the Waldfrieden car park in Steinberg, the trail leads northwards via the ruins of the Stubachalm (1,371 metres) to the Issalm, where no refreshments are available. At the first junction, follow the signposts “Guffert”. This tour is recommended for experienced hikers only, as some sections are secured with ropes and require sure-footedness. The return is via the same route.
