Caretaker / Gardener (m|f|d)
Your role: Guardian of the property
Like stage technology and set design, your work takes place largely behind the scenes: unobtrusive, precise and indispensable. You ensure that the building, garden and technical systems are well maintained, function reliably and reflect the high standards of Mazaggs at all times. With care, technical understanding and a strong sense of responsibility, you help preserve the character and integrity of the hotel - creating a dependable foundation for guests to feel at home and for every event to run smoothly.
Your responsibilities
- Maintenance and upkeep of the building and outdoor facilities through regular inspections and proactive maintenance measures
- Careful maintenance and supervision of technical systems, machinery and alarm systems to ensure smooth hotel operations
- Gardening work and seasonal maintenance of green spaces
- Professional execution of minor repair work and support for external specialists on larger projects
- Coordination with external partners as required
- Assistance with setting up and dismantling equipment for events
- Working discreetly while guest operations are in progress
- Ensuring order, cleanliness and safety throughout the premises
- Close cooperation with housekeeping, reception and management

Information
Your profile
- Manual skills and technical understanding; completed training in a skilled trade, such as electrician, carpenter, plumber or similar, is an advantage
- Several years of professional experience, preferably in a hotel environment or in a comparable role as a caretaker, gardener or facility support employee
- Respectful interaction with the property, the team and guests
- An understanding that care, order and attention to detail make a significant contribution to guests’ well-being
- Independent working style with an eye for detail, a strong sense of responsibility and discretion
- A very careful, reliable and structured way of working
- Very good German language skills

Salary
The minimum gross salary under the collective agreement is €2.165,00 per month on a full-time basis. Depending on qualifications and relevant professional experience, a significant salary above this level is offered.
