Inntal Motorway A12 (vignette required), exit Wiesing/Achensee, Achensee federal road B181, after 7 kilometers you will reach the center of Maurach. It is also possible to travel without a toll via the Achen Pass or Bad Tölz. From Munich to the motorway exit Holzkirchen, Tegernsee, Achen Pass or Bad Tölz – cross the state border via Achenkirch continuing to Maurach.

Arrival by public transport: Take the train to Jenbach station. From there, take the public bus to Achensee. See bus timetable www.vvt.at. The journey to Achensee is free when presenting your reservation confirmation.

The nearest airports are Innsbruck (approx. 50km), Munich (approx. 140km), and Salzburg (approx. 150km). A wonderful hotel by Lake Ahansi. It's quiet and clean. The room and bed are suitable for two adults and a child. The bathroom is spacious and clean, but there's no bidet. It's self-service; they send you an access code to unlock a key box, allowing you to get a key to your room and the main door. At the end of your stay, you return the keys and check out. The owner is very kind, helpful, and respectful. You should bring your own toiletries. The view is beautiful, facing the mountain, not the lake. There's a garden behind the building with a children's play area. The price is excellent, and it's worth a repeat visit. There's no bidet or slippers provided, and the room doesn't have tissues.

Gerne! Hier ist eine herzliche und authentische 5-Sterne-Bewertung: Wir hatten einen rundum wunderschönen Aufenthalt! Die Apartments sind modern, stilvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Ein abschließbaren Raum für Fahrräder gibt es ebenfalls. Die Lage ist ruhig, idyllisch und gleichzeitig ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft. Wir hatten eine Buchungsfehler und uns wurde direkt geht geholfen! Man merkt sofort, dass den Gastgebern das Wohl ihrer Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt – ein persönlicher und herzlicher Service, wie man ihn heutzutage nur noch selten erlebt. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens aufgehoben gefühlt. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Nice accommodation. The hostess is friendly. It's best to call and not book online; it's significantly cheaper that way. Breakfast was also good. For €53 a night, there's nothing to complain about.

Nothing fancy but the personnel was very kind. Location is good and not far away from amazing lake and the village. Rooms are small but warm, clean and you get everything you need. We stayed there for a night as it was in the middle of our way to the final destination.

Very cozy accommodation with an old-fashioned feel and modern bathrooms and showers. A very friendly woman runs the house and takes excellent care of you. There's a garden with rabbits and play areas. Would definitely come back.

A truly beautiful country house. Perfect location for an overnight stay near Lake Achensee. The lake is just a few minutes away by car. The room was very clean and lovely. We received a very warm welcome and felt right at home. The breakfast had everything you could possibly need. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone; we were thrilled! The restaurant recommendations from the landlady were also excellent! You can tell they've put their heart and soul into this place.
