Only a few minutes away is a 9-hole golf course and the region also has a lot to offer. Of course, our youngest guests can also play and romp here as they please.

We are happy to welcome you together with your four-legged companion (upon request, not available for every room category). We kindly ask for your understanding that dogs are not allowed inside the restaurant areas, but they are welcome to join you on our terraces and other outdoor areas. There is an additional nightly charge of 30.00 EUR per dog (excluding food).

Inntal Autobahn A12 (toll sticker required), exit Wiesing/Achensee, Achensee federal road B181 to Achenkirch. A toll-free journey is also possible via the Achenpass or Bad Tölz. From Munich to the highway exit Holzkirchen, Tegernsee, Achenpass or Bad Tölz – crossing the state border to Achenkirch.

Arrival by public transport: By train to Jenbach station. From there, take the public bus to the Achensee. See the bus schedule www.vvt.at. The journey to Achensee in Achenkirch is free of charge upon presenting your reservation confirmation.

The nearest airports are Innsbruck (approximately 50km), Munich (approximately 140km), and Salzburg (approximately 150km). We had a wonderful stay at the Vaya Achensee. The room was large, modern, and clean. The food was very good, and there were many gluten-free options. They are very attentive to dietary needs. All the hotel staff are friendly, and the service staff are extremely courteous and attentive. Special mention goes to Liliana and Stanislav, who ensured everything ran smoothly in the restaurant. The only slight drawback was that the spa area felt a bit cramped when the hotel was full, and its layout and the constant foot traffic made it occasionally noisy.

Wir haben fünf Tage im Superior Apartment mit zwei Schlafzimmern verbracht und waren mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir freundlich empfangen und haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Das gesamte Team war stets freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns bei Viktoria an der Rezeption. Sie hatte immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen, gab uns viele nützliche Tipps und kümmerte sich engagiert um unsere Anliegen. Man merkt, dass hier Gastfreundschaft wirklich gelebt wird. Unser Apartment war geräumig, sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die zwei separaten Schlafzimmer boten viel Platz. Auch die moderne Ausstattung und die gut ausgestattete Küche haben uns überzeugt. Die Kombination aus gemütlichem Alpenstil und modernem Komfort hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Die Lage ist ideal für einen erholsamen Urlaub. Der Achensee, die Berge sowie zahlreiche Wander- und Spazierwege sind schnell erreichbar. Nach unseren Ausflügen haben wir den schönen Wellnessbereich genutzt und dort wunderbar entspannen können. Auch das Frühstück hat uns begeistert. Die Auswahl war groß, die Qualität der Speisen sehr gut und die regionalen Produkte sorgten jeden Morgen für einen gelungenen Start in den Tag. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

I had a wonderful stay at VAYA and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway in the Austrian Alps. The hotel has a beautiful, stylish design with natural wood and a very warm atmosphere, while the surrounding village is incredibly quiet and relaxing. The location is perfect for enjoying the lake, nearby beaches and hiking trails, all easily accessible from the hotel. I especially loved the excellent spa, which is open 24/7, as well as the delicious breakfasts and the thoughtful attention to detail — from the cleanliness and comfortable rooms to the quality of the bath amenities. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Everything came together perfectly, and I left feeling genuinely rested and very happy with our choice of hotel.

We stayed at the hotel as a couple in August 2026. Like others, I agree that parking shouldn't be charged separately. There's a bicycle storage room with plenty of outlets for charging e-bikes. The hotel itself is excellent. The rooms are great, except for the fact that the very large bathroom definitely lacks storage space. In the center of the hotel, there's a traditional Tyrolean-style hut where you can get food and drinks, surrounded by a heated outdoor pool, a very large, clean (more like a swimming pond) that isn't heated, and a tennis court. From the outdoor pool, you can go directly to the spa area with a whirlpool, a small indoor pool, and a relaxation area. We had half-board, and everything was very well organized and delicious. The spa is especially great if the weather isn't so good, and you can even sit in the hut wearing your bathrobe. All in all, I would book this hotel again anytime. We had booked four nights and wanted to extend our stay, but unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked, even though the staff were keeping an eye on things in case someone canceled. They were very friendly. It's a shame nothing was available, but that also speaks well of the hotel. In conclusion: Excellent and definitely worth a visit.

This was our second stay at the VAYA Achensee – and we will definitely be back! The hotel is beautifully situated on the shores of Lake Achensee and offers a truly enchanting atmosphere. This time, we arrived a little later, so the reception was closed. After a quick message to the hotel, we received a smooth and hassle-free arrangement for our late arrival – truly excellent organization! Everything was perfect during our stay as well. Our room was once again lovely, cozy, and clean – we felt right at home. All the staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. We would especially like to commend the food: delicious, varied, and truly top-notch. We felt completely at ease once again and are already looking forward to our next stay at the VAYA Achensee. Highly recommended!

Hier besonders muss man 2 Personen erwähnen bzw hervorheben die unseren Aufenthalt wunderschön gemacht haben.
