Between mountain and lake - the VAYA Achensee not only combines two types of landscape, but also coziness and hospitality ideally. In the Tyrolean idyll you can relax, unwind or spend your vacation actively. In addition to a breathtaking panorama, culinary delights of the highest quality await you here. We are happy to welcome you together with your four-legged companion (upon request, not available for every room category). We kindly ask for your understanding that dogs are not allowed inside the restaurant areas, but they are welcome to join you on our terraces and other outdoor areas. There is an additional nightly charge of 30.00 EUR per dog (excluding food).

Inntal Autobahn A12 (toll sticker required), exit Wiesing/Achensee, Achensee federal road B181 to Achenkirch. A toll-free journey is also possible via the Achenpass or Bad Tölz. From Munich to the highway exit Holzkirchen, Tegernsee, Achenpass or Bad Tölz – crossing the state border to Achenkirch.

Arrival by public transport: By train to Jenbach station. From there, take the public bus to the Achensee. See the bus schedule www.vvt.at. The journey to Achensee in Achenkirch is free of charge upon presenting your reservation confirmation.

The nearest airports are Innsbruck (approximately 50km), Munich (approximately 140km), and Salzburg (approximately 150km). We stayed at the hotel as a couple in August 2026. Like others, I agree that parking shouldn't be charged separately. There's a bicycle storage room with plenty of outlets for charging e-bikes. The hotel itself is excellent. The rooms are great, except for the fact that the very large bathroom definitely lacks storage space. In the center of the hotel, there's a traditional Tyrolean-style hut where you can get food and drinks, surrounded by a heated outdoor pool, a very large, clean (more like a swimming pond) that isn't heated, and a tennis court. From the outdoor pool, you can go directly to the spa area with a whirlpool, a small indoor pool, and a relaxation area. We had half-board, and everything was very well organized and delicious. The spa is especially great if the weather isn't so good, and you can even sit in the hut wearing your bathrobe. All in all, I would book this hotel again anytime. We had booked four nights and wanted to extend our stay, but unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked, even though the staff were keeping an eye on things in case someone canceled. They were very friendly. It's a shame nothing was available, but that also speaks well of the hotel. In conclusion: Excellent and definitely worth a visit.

This was our second stay at the VAYA Achensee – and we will definitely be back! The hotel is beautifully situated on the shores of Lake Achensee and offers a truly enchanting atmosphere. This time, we arrived a little later, so the reception was closed. After a quick message to the hotel, we received a smooth and hassle-free arrangement for our late arrival – truly excellent organization! Everything was perfect during our stay as well. Our room was once again lovely, cozy, and clean – we felt right at home. All the staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. We would especially like to commend the food: delicious, varied, and truly top-notch. We felt completely at ease once again and are already looking forward to our next stay at the VAYA Achensee. Highly recommended!

Dieses Hotel ist das Geld wert! Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit! Alles hat uns bestens geflasht. Hier besonders muss man 2 Personen erwähnen bzw hervorheben die unseren Aufenthalt wunderschön gemacht haben. Restaurant: Dimitar TOP TOP TOP...Rezeption die Sofie TOP TOP TOP TOP und das Hotel mit diesem wunderschönen Naturteich zum baden TOP TOP TOP TOP TOP....DANKE VAYA RESORT ACHENSEE

Hello, We were a family of four staying at the beautiful Vaya Achensee. The rooms are beautifully furnished. The many smaller buildings give the hotel a charming, village-like feel, and the entire complex is very well-maintained. The swimming pond, outdoor pool, indoor pools, and spa area aren't the largest, but they are perfectly adequate and lovely. The service and kitchen staff do a fantastic job. They are always friendly, and the food is very varied, appealing, and delicious. There are always a few minor things that might bother you, which we personally mentioned at reception, but we would definitely come back. Admittedly, the parking fees for open spaces are a bit annoying.

Traumhaft! Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und herzlich, das Essen war richtig lecker und die Zimmer waren immer sauber und gepflegt. Auch die gesamte Anlage hat uns sehr gefallen, man fühlt sich einfach rundum wohl. Wir können dieses Hotel von Herzen weiterempfehlen und freuen uns jetzt schon auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt. We stayed there as part of an Alpine crossing. The hotel is situated on a hillside; the busy Achensee federal highway is right next door (so it's quite noticeable with the window open). The rooms were on the 3rd floor (no elevator; no air conditioning), but were very modern, yet still decorated in a style typical of the region. We didn't use the spa facilities, only the very nice swimming pond! Our half-board included dinner and breakfast, both served in a somewhat plain room. The service was very attentive, but at times a bit overwhelmed; dinner was good and tasty. All in all, a good hotel, but be warned, it's crowded during the school holidays with lots of children! Note: the formal "Sie" (you) is not used there; only the informal "Du" (you) is used (if you like that sort of thing...).

We stayed at this hotel for one night as part of an Alpine crossing. The rooms were beautifully furnished, with a modern ambiance throughout the hotel. We were very impressed with the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide selection, including specialty dishes like Weisswurst and churros. Dinner was delicious, but unfortunately, the service didn't live up to expectations. In our opinion, the spa area is poorly laid out. The sauna area is accessible to everyone (including children) and essentially serves as a thoroughfare to the pool. Children, in my opinion, have no place in a sauna area.

We had a wonderful holiday at the Vaya Resort Achensee. The resort is beautifully built in a village style. Our two-room superior apartment was in a larger building with a partial view of the mountains. The beds were very comfortable, with several pillows on the bed. All the hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, whether at reception, the Tieoler Hütte mountain hut, or the restaurant. Everywhere was simply super friendly and helpful. The reception even allowed us to look into unoccupied rooms. The food: We booked half-board. The best decision. The quality is excellent, and regional products are used. Wellness/Pool: Everything is provided for in every kind of weather. There's a natural pool, a heated outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a whirlpool, various saunas, and relaxation areas. Surroundings: Lake Achensee is just a stone's throw away. There are many hiking trails for all levels. Innsbruck and other cities are also within easy reach and can be explored for a day trip. We'll be back ❤️❤️❤️❤️
