The Sonnenhof enjoys a prime setting in the upper part of Pertisau at Lake Achensee in Tirol, within direct reach of the Nature Park Karwendel. From here, you can set out on winter and summer hiking tours into unspoilt nature, walk just a few metres to the first golf tee or step directly into the 200 km cross-country skiing trail network. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wir möchten uns zunächst ganz herzlich bei der Familie und dem gesamten Team für das wunderbare Upgrade bedanken. Unser Panoramazimmer über Eck war einfach traumhaft  mit einem herrlichen Blick auf das Karwendelgebirge und über Pertisau. Schon beim Betreten des Zimmers haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Alles war makellos sauber, stilvoll eingerichtet und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Eigentlich war der Hauptgrund, warum wir uns für den Sonnenhof entschieden haben, das Essen. Wir kannten das Restaurant bereits von einem früheren Aufenthalt in Pertisau, als es uns empfohlen wurde. Schon damals waren wir begeistert und auch dieses Mal wurden unsere Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt. Für uns gibt es in Pertisau kein besseres Abendessen! Jede Vorspeise, jedes Hauptgericht und auch die Desserts waren hervorragend zubereitet und geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau. Man merkt, dass hier mit viel Leidenschaft gekocht wird. Auch das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Auswahl war groß, alles frisch und liebevoll präsentiert. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Herzlichkeit des gesamten Teams. Alle Mitarbeiter waren stets freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt sind die ausreichend vorhandenen Parkplätze sowie die Lademöglichkeiten für Elektroautos, ein toller Service. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls perfekt: Der Achensee, der Naturpark Karwendel sowie zahlreiche Wander- und Radwege sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ob zum Wandern, Radfahren oder einfach zum Genießen der wunderschönen Landschaft, der Sonnenhof ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt. Unser Fazit: Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, den wir in bester Erinnerung behalten werden. Wer Wert auf herzliche Gastfreundschaft, traumhafte Zimmer, eine fantastische Lage und vor allem auf eine exzellente Küche legt, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

This was our third stay at the Sonnenhof, and the service, food, and rooms are still just as excellent as the first time. The only exception: the bathrooms are now a real treat after the renovation. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

A cozy, family-run hotel on Lake Achensee that impresses with its thoroughly pleasant atmosphere. Both the rooms and public areas (restaurant, reception, spa) are tastefully furnished, with a successful blend of tradition and modernity, without lapsing into alpine kitsch. The hotel is family-run, and this is evident in the attention to detail and the friendliness of the staff. I would particularly like to highlight the outstanding cuisine: modern, feel-good dishes of a very high standard, with the main courses and desserts being especially excellent. In the towns around Lake Achensee, which otherwise offer little in the way of culinary delights, this is a real highlight. The breakfast is also impressive; I particularly enjoyed the daily changing little extras. The location in the center of Pertisau is also convenient, as both the lake and the Karwendel cable car are easily accessible on foot, and several hikes can be started directly from the hotel.

We had a wonderful holiday at the Sonnenhof. The rooms are lovely and clean. The staff is so friendly and attentive. We looked forward to dinner every evening. It was a real treat each time. We were able to relax completely and would love to come back. Everything was perfect.

An absolutely amazing experience traveling with my family with 5 year olds. It is probably one of the only places that has a proper 3 bedroom apartment, with a garden on the ground floor, with a breathtaking view. The hotel (which is 100m away), and apartments are family run, and it shows. Everything is well thought of, breakfast is to die for, and the entire experience has been nothing short of exceptional.

This was my first time at the Sonnenhof, and I was absolutely delighted with this exceptionally well-maintained, modern, yet traditional hotel. I loved everything, from the room and the extensive breakfast that left nothing to be desired, to the fantastic, Michelin-star-worthy dinner menu, the atmosphere throughout the hotel, and the peaceful location. The spa area is equally impressive and beautifully designed. All the service was attentive yet unobtrusive. This is hospitality at its finest. And what I particularly appreciated was the way the staff treated each guest; it felt like one big family. Thank you so much for the wonderful time; I will definitely be back.

It doesn't get any better than this!!! The Huber family and their team create a special atmosphere for their guests, ensuring a high level of comfort. Having enjoyed a wonderful week with you for the fifth time speaks volumes. Whether rooms, hotel rooms, or apartments, they are all beautiful and offer every comfort. The cuisine, from breakfast to the evening meal, is also second to none. (Simply delicious!) The location is the perfect starting point for beautiful bike rides or fantastic hikes, both short and long. All in all, we're already looking forward to our next visit!
