In winter, cross-country skiers can access the trail network directly from the Pfandler Hotel. Small skiers practice at the practice area of the Bobo children's ski school opposite the Pfandler. Tobogganing enthusiasts, snow tubers, and ice skaters can also have a great time in Pertisau. Particularly popular with families and couples on vacation are romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides through the sparkling snow landscape, which end in warm alpine huts with a hot mulled wine, tea, or cocoa. Another highlight at the Achensee is snow biking - a perfect combination of biking & snow. This sport is very gentle on the knees and joints and requires no prior knowledge. Take the motorway A12 (toll sticker required), exit at Wiesing/Achensee and follow the Achensee federal road B181 until you reach Maurach after 7 kilometres. From the village centre, turn right and continue to Pertisau. Toll-free journey is possible via Achenpass or Bad Tölz. From Munich, follow the motorway and exit at Holzkirchen, then continue via Tegernsee and Achenpass or via Bad Tölz to the national border. Follow the road to Achenkirch and drive via Maurach to Pertisau.
Getting here by public transport: Take the train to the train station Jenbach. From here, Lake Achensee is just a short bus ride away, see bus timetables at www.vvt.at. Your reservation confirmation is your free bus ticket to Pertisau.
The nearest airports are Innsbruck (50km), Munich (ca. 140km), and Salzburg (ca. 150km).
