Welcome to our new holiday apartments on the grounds of the "Karwendel - Camping and Achensee Cabin Village" site!
In the new building (the apartments are not located in a wooden block house), we rent one holiday apartment (for 2 to 6 people) and 3 apartments (each for 2 people)

Take the motorway A12 (toll sticker required), exit at Wiesing/Achensee and follow the Achensee federal road B181 until you reach Maurach after 7 kilometres. Toll-free journey is possible via Achenpass or Bad Tölz. From Munich, follow the motorway and exit at Holzkirchen, then continue via Tegernsee and Achenpass or via Bad Tölz to the national border. Follow the road to Achenkirch and drive to Maurach.

Getting here by public transport: Take the traain to the train station Jenbach. From here, Lake Achensee is just a short bus ride away, see bus timetables at www.vvt.at. Your reservation confirmation is your free bus ticket to Maurach.

The nearest airports are Innsbruck (50km), Munich (ca. 140km), and Salzburg (ca. 150km). You can pre-book transfers to and from all airports with Taxi Kröll in Maurach, Tel. +43(5243)43280, www.taxikroell.com or with the airport transfer service Four Seasons Travel Tel. +43(512)584157, www.tirol-taxi.at.

Wir waren hier für 2 Übernachtungen . Wir haben spontan noch einen Platt bekommen . Wir waren auf einer Rundreise und konnte nicht wirklich vorplanen . Wir hatten einen super Stellplatz und eine schöne Aussicht Richtung Achensee . Der See ist fussläufig ca. 10-15 Minuten entfernt. Sanitäranlagen waren sehr sauber gewesen und modern ( neues Sanitär Gebäude ) , gab dort sogar die Möglichkeit von mietbädern , was für Familien natürlich super ist . Den Platz können wir auf jedenfall weiter empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne nächstes Mal wieder vorbei .

We stayed one night in our campervan. The campsite is relatively small; we parked on gravel but still needed leveling blocks. The nearest electrical hookup was over 20 meters away. The sanitary facilities were spacious, bright, and clean. The on-site restaurant is good. The lake is just a short walk away. Highly recommended for a stopover while traveling through.

We had a log cabin for a week. It had everything we needed, and there were plenty of washing machines available on site. The children had a great playroom and a very nice playground.

Schön gelegener Campingplatz mit toller Aussicht. Personal super freundlich. Tolle Gastronomie und Brötchenservice auf dem Platz. Sanitäre Anlagen sehr sauber. Viele Möglichkeiten für Unternehmungen fußläufig erreichbar. Immer wieder gern.

This was our first time at the campsite for 5 nights, and it definitely won't be our last! 😇😬 The sanitary facilities were fantastic, the campsite was incredibly peaceful, and the mountain views were breathtaking. The staff were friendly, and we'll try the restaurant next year. We didn't need a car at all – everything was just a few minutes away: supermarket, lake, lakeside promenade, and hiking trails. The only downside is that the water tap is too far from the pitches; you need a really long hose. We're already looking forward to our next visit! 😍😇😬

Wir waren von Montag bis Samstag mit unserem Baby auf dem Karwendel Camping und würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Der gesamte Platz ist sehr gepflegt und sauber – man merkt, dass viel Wert auf Ordnung und Sauberkeit gelegt wird. Für Familien mit Kindern ist der Campingplatz einfach ideal. Es gibt viele Spiel- und Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten, sodass für die Kleinen immer etwas geboten ist. Besonders empfehlen können wir auch das Restaurant auf dem Campingplatz. Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Service freundlich und die Atmosphäre gemütlich. Ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt ist die Lage: Der See ist in nur etwa 5–10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar – perfekt für einen entspannten Spaziergang oder einen schönen Badetag. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt rundum genossen und können den Karwendel Camping uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!

The campsite was nice! A great outdoor and indoor playground for the kids. The sanitary facilities are very clean! Beautiful spots. A lovely campsite. Close to the lake.

We had some lovely days at this campsite. The location is very beautiful, though it gets shaded quite quickly in the evening due to the mountain. The friendliness of the staff varied somewhat, as did the quality of the pitches (we were placed on a cramped, stony spot that we had to share with a camper). But the sanitary facilities are very clean, and the fresh bread rolls every morning are delicious!

A lovely, well-maintained little campsite near Lake Achensee. The sanitary facilities are well-maintained and well-equipped. The on-site restaurant is excellent and highly recommended. Great service, a good selection, and reasonable prices. The lake is about a 5-minute walk away. Of course, the campsite was full during the holiday season, but it was never noisy. It had a lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed our three-day stay and would gladly return.
