Entners am See

We've visited Entner's Am See from 14 feb 2026 untill 20 feb 2026. Short version: Visit this hotel, you'll love it! Long version: We arrived a bit early in the hotel, it was not a problem at all. Reception with a drink and a very friendly lady explaining the how's, when's and where's. Picked up a trolley to move our luggage from the car to the room. The room (mountain view Alpin style) was beautiful, large and enough space to store all our items (it was a ski trip). The bathroom has glass windows, that's no problem for our family (2adults 2children), but I can imagine not everybody likes that. The bath and shower are huge and very comfortable water pressure and temperature. The children's bed was a sofa, and here is some room for improvement, cause the sheets didn't have the right dimensions for the sofa-bed, it was a bit too small. Nevertheless, it was comfy and okay. The 'adult' bed was huge, one mattress (+++) and good night lights. The breakfast was great, ALL items are quality items from known brands (Alpro, Danone, ...-). We went during holiday, it was a bit crowded cause not all tables of the dining room were accessible, and some of the other guests were not at all polite or educated, resulting in inadequate use of the tables/room. The afternoon snack was okay. Soup with some bread would've been sufficient in most cases, but they went the extra mile with specialties from the region. Diner: If you like food, you'll love diner time. They serve at the tables (in our case just one time due to staffing issues in the kitchen, but they serve at the tables in normal operation), and you can chose one of the four dishes of the menu, which are prepared just for you. So: no buffet for the main course (+++). The waiters are extremely polite and smart people, they remember preferences and are trained waiters. They we're able to speak different languages. Children's entertainment: there was a small animation team, they introduced themselves (even in Dutch) and presented their program. Our children didn't enter their program, so no details. There was a small entertainment room with an air hockey and table soccer, but the amount of decibels produced by the children made it difficult to attend. Some of the children forgot what their parents taught them (hopefully) and were very egoistic and unfriendly. In the bar area they have one touchscreen game table. Same story: it's fun with sharing children, but when some less educated children think they own the place, fun is over. Facilities: it was freezing cold, the water of the pools were magnificent, visit the outdoor pool area and the sauna with beautiful view at the lake and the mountains (especially with fog and snow the views are wonderful. A lot of children (like mine) like to play in the pool area's. The hotel tried to organize timeframes for adults only so everybody can enjoy the facilities of the hotel on their own terms. Parking space: Enough space behind the hotel. It snowed a lot, it's difficult to find the parking spots (indications on the floor were invisible due to the snow), but we've never had troubles in finding space. Check-out: easy check-out and final pay. The bar checks were listed and available for check-up if you'd like. We checked-out at 9am, that was not smart, it's departure time for the ski-shuttles, and some selfish idiot thought it was a good idea to park his/her car in front of the hotel, reserved for loading/unloading (the amount of snow on his windshield told me he was parked and not loading/unloading). Dogfriendly: ooh yes! they have towels for your dog at the lobby.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön es war ein wundervoller aufenthalt. Tolle Organisation über Silvester, immer unterhaltet. Das Essen ist hervorragend und am Abend sehr lustig mit der Bedienung. Unsere Bedienung war der Josip, er hat sehr gut für uns gesorgt und hatte immer einen Spruch auf Lager der alle zum lachen gebracht hat. Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben und Willkommen. Äusserst Freundlich.

We spent four wonderful days here, and even though I'm a critical person, we couldn't find a single thing to complain about. The spa area with its indoor and outdoor pools and warm water was truly lovely. The 90-degree and 60-degree saunas, as well as the steam room, were very well designed for everyone, and drinks and teas were also available. Beautiful little relaxation areas and an outdoor sauna with direct access to Lake Achensee made this spa area unforgettable for us. We booked half-board, and both breakfast and the six-course dinner were outstanding. A special shout-out to our favorite waiter, Panos, who did a fantastic job. I'd also like to mention the friendly welcome; the owner clearly had a knack for choosing excellent staff. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel.

Magnifique semaine en famille dans cet hôtel situé au bord du lac. Le complexe est vraiment top, la vue incroyable. Dès notre arrive l'accueil était parfait. Le petit déjeuner buffet et le dîner très copieux, avec une spécialité locale proposée chaque soir. Mention spéciale pour la piscine à débordement sur le lac et espace sauna. Petit bémol sur la chambre suffisamment spacieuse pour une famille de 4 mais un peu vieillot, idem pour la salle de bain qui pourrait être un peu modernisée. Petite dédicace également a Josip et toute l'équipe vraiment aux petits soins avec nous et les enfants. 😉👍

Séjour au ski : Magnifique hôtel très bien situé avec tout le nécessaire (compter 30-40min de route pour les grandes stations comme Zillertal Arena , 20min pour station moyenne comme Christlum). Les piscines intérieures et extérieures sont incroyables avec une vue exceptionnelle sur le lac. L'espace détente adulte est très bien, un espace jacuzzi le rendrait parfait! Le buffet du petit déjeuner est merveilleusement bien présenté avec un énorme choix. Le Restaurant le soir est parfait également, merci à Josip pour son accueil chaleureux et son attention pour les enfants qui ont eu du mal à le quitter à la fin des vacances 🥲, il nous manquera ! Tout le personnel veille à ce que notre séjour se déroule parfaitement bien , Merci.

A fantastic hotel right on the shores of Lake Achensee. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The spa area leaves nothing to be desired. The clear highlight is the infinity pool and the bikini sauna directly on the lake shore.

For me personally, the best hotel on Lake Achensee.

Wir hatten insgesamt einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Entners am Achensee. Das Hotel ist stilvoll, die Lage direkt am See ist traumhaft und das Personal war durchweg freundlich und bemüht. Besonders der Spa-Bereich und das Ambiente haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten trüben jedoch den ansonsten sehr guten Eindruck: Im Spa fehlte ein Handtuchservice, was wir in einem Haus dieser Kategorie eigentlich erwartet hätten. Außerdem waren die Lampen im Badezimmer deutlich verstaubt. Die Trinkgläser im Zimmer wurden während des Aufenthalts nicht gewechselt und das Trinkwasser nicht nachgefüllt. Das sind zwar keine großen Mängel, aber Details, die bei einem Hotel dieser Preisklasse auffallen. Insgesamt hatten wir trotzdem einen angenehmen Aufenthalt und würden das Hotel grundsätzlich weiterempfehlen – mit etwas mehr Augenmerk auf Sauberkeit und Service im Detail wäre es nahezu perfekt.

Wir waren Anfang Januar für leider nur 2 Nächte dort. Wir waren sehr begeistert. Super Essen, grandioses Frühstück und alle Mitarbeiter sind wirklich grandios. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder
