Plan a route

Take the motorway A12 (toll sticker required), exit at Wiesing/Achensee and follow the Achensee federal road B181 until you reach Maurach after 7 kilometres. Toll-free journey is possible via Achenpass or Bad Tölz. From Munich, follow the motorway and exit at Holzkirchen, then continue via Tegernsee and Achenpass or via Bad Tölz to the national border. Follow the road to Achenkirch and drive to Maurach.

Getting here by public transport: Take the traain to the train station Jenbach. From here, Lake Achensee is just a short bus ride away, see bus timetables at www.vvt.at. Your reservation confirmation is your free bus ticket to Maurach.

The nearest airports are Innsbruck (50km), Munich (ca. 140km), and Salzburg (ca. 150km). You can pre-book transfers to and from all airports with Taxi Kröll in Maurach, Tel. +43(5243)43280, www.taxikroell.com or with the airport transfer service Four Seasons Travel Tel. +43(512)584157, www.tirol-taxi.at.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr genossen. Das gesamte Team war jederzeit freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders gefallen hat uns die familiäre Atmosphäre – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, gepflegt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Hier kann man sich rundum wohlfühlen. Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel mit persönlichem Charme, das wir gerne weiterempfehlen und jederzeit wieder besuchen würden.

Absolutely outstanding hotel. Very nice rooms, ample parking, and a secure bike and ski storage room. The breakfast and service are fantastic, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

A first-class address with a fantastic suite including a sauna, outstanding service from reception, the superb breakfast, the restaurant, the bar, and the housekeeping staff. Everyone is incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive; you feel completely at ease here. Not to mention the amazing food, whether pizza, pasta, or other dishes – the way to someone's heart is through their stomach. This place comes with our highest recommendation. We've been coming here regularly for several years and are already looking forward to our next visit. Every need is met here.

Ein Sehr schönes,gepflegtes Hotel. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Zimmer geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Betten sind super bequem, man schläft traumhaft. Freue mich schon ....im Juni ist es wieder soweit. Bin schon zum dritten Mal dort und werde ab jetzt jedes Jahr dieses Juwel nutzen. Bis bald...

We had a wonderful short stay. Our room was great, with an infrared sauna and a partial lake view, and it was wonderfully quiet at night. Communication with the hotel was always friendly and straightforward. Breakfast was excellent – ​​nothing was lacking: fresh egg dishes, freshly squeezed juice, yogurt, muesli, and a wide selection of everything. We also received very friendly service at the pizzeria. The pizza was fantastic, and the service was impeccable – something that's truly rare these days. We would love to come back and highly recommend you.

If you're looking for a completely carefree holiday, this is the place for you! We came to Arthur's based on a recommendation and are happy to pass it on. The rooms are cozy and modernly furnished with very high-quality amenities (I've never had such a quiet-closing bathroom door). The location is perfect; the cable car is within walking distance, the lake is right nearby, as are the many shopping opportunities! The pizzeria in the hotel is also highly recommended. All the staff are incredibly friendly and very accommodating. We would love to come back again!
