Plan a route

Take the motorway A12 (toll sticker required), exit at Wiesing/Achensee and follow the Achensee federal road B181 until you reach Maurach after 7 kilometres. Toll-free journey is possible via Achenpass or Bad Tölz. From Munich, follow the motorway and exit at Holzkirchen, then continue via Tegernsee and Achenpass or via Bad Tölz to the national border. Follow the road to Achenkirch and drive to Maurach.

Getting here by public transport: Take the traain to the train station Jenbach. From here, Lake Achensee is just a short bus ride away, see bus timetables at www.vvt.at. Your reservation confirmation is your free bus ticket to Maurach.

The nearest airports are Innsbruck (50km), Munich (ca. 140km), and Salzburg (ca. 150km). You can pre-book transfers to and from all airports with Taxi Kröll in Maurach, Tel. +43(5243)43280, www.taxikroell.com or with the airport transfer service Four Seasons Travel Tel. +43(512)584157, www.tirol-taxi.at.

The hotel is very clean, the room is large and spacious, and the view of Morach is breathtaking and panoramic. There's red light therapy in the room. The breakfast is good and varied. What I didn't like is that each table has the room number on it, so I couldn't choose my table myself. The parking is plentiful and spacious. The price is average. I asked them to fix the hallway lighting, but they didn't respond.

We stayed one night at this hotel and were completely satisfied. Friendly staff, modern, spacious rooms, and a delicious breakfast buffet. Highly recommended!

Wir (2 Erw. , 3 Kinder (3-6Jahre) waren in dem Apartment Achensee untergebracht welche rund 2km vom Hotel entfernt liegt. Das im Landhausstil gehaltene Haus beinhaltet insgesamt 3 Apartments. Unseres war im Untergeschoss, welches noch einen Garten mit Wiese hatte, was superpraktisch war, weil wir unsere 2 Hunde dabei hatten und die dann immer draußen springen konnten. Das Haus liegt etwas oberhalb, wodurch man auch vom Untergeschoss einen tollen Blick auf den See hat. Das Apartment ist Superschön eingerichtet und hat alles was man braucht. Die Boxspringbetten sind super bequem. Wir waren jeden Morgen im Hotel Frühstücken und es fehlte uns an nichts, alles lecker frisch und auch regional. Das Personal war auch sehr sehr freundlich und lieb. Lisa am Empfang hatte immer ein offenes Ohr und unsere Kids haben sie sofort ins Herz geschlossen. Der Chef Arthur war auch sehr freundlich. Der Check-in und -out waren super unkompliziert. Alles in allem empfanden wir den Aufenthalt als super angenehm und deswegen geben wir auch für alles 5 Sterne. Wir empfehlen das Hotel auf Fall weiter und kommen auch gerne wieder! Regina & Florian R.

We stayed at Arthurs Hotel on Lake Achensee for two nights at the beginning of May and had a truly wonderful stay. Upon check-in, we received a warm welcome from the incredibly friendly lady at reception. To our great delight, she even arranged a fantastic upgrade for us with an infrared sauna – we would like to thank her again most sincerely for that! From the very first moment, we felt completely at ease in the hotel. The entire building is modern, stylish, and very well-maintained. There is absolutely nothing to criticize – everything was perfect. The breakfast was very generous, and of course, I love that juicer. The location is simply breathtaking. The beautiful surroundings of Lake Achensee are perfect for wonderful hikes and explorations. The combination of mountains, lake, and nature is truly unique. We would have loved to stay a few days longer. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend Arthurs Hotel. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr genossen. Das gesamte Team war jederzeit freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders gefallen hat uns die familiäre Atmosphäre – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, gepflegt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Hier kann man sich rundum wohlfühlen. Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel mit persönlichem Charme, das wir gerne weiterempfehlen und jederzeit wieder besuchen würden.
