Take the motorway A12 (toll sticker required), exit at Wiesing/Achensee and follow the Achensee federal road B181 until you reach Maurach after 7 kilometres. Toll-free journey is possible via Achenpass or Bad Tölz. From Munich, follow the motorway and exit at Holzkirchen, then continue via Tegernsee and Achenpass or via Bad Tölz to the national border. Follow the road to Achenkirch and drive to Maurach.

Getting here by public transport: Take the traain to the train station Jenbach. From here, Lake Achensee is just a short bus ride away, see bus timetables at www.vvt.at. Your reservation confirmation is your free bus ticket to Maurach.

The nearest airports are Innsbruck (50km), Munich (ca. 140km), and Salzburg (ca. 150km). You can pre-book transfers to and from all airports with Taxi Kröll in Maurach, Tel. +43(5243)43280, www.taxikroell.com or with the airport transfer service Four Seasons Travel Tel. +43(512)584157, www.tirol-taxi.at.

The staff were consistently very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself, as well as the room, made a very well-maintained impression. We were upgraded to a family suite, which was lovely with a fantastic mountain panorama. The infrared sauna in the room was used several times. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh, with a very good selection. There was something for everyone. Despite the high occupancy during peak hours, the buffet was always promptly replenished. The staff were also very efficient and seemed to work together very well. On our first evening, we ate at the hotel restaurant, which also made a very good impression in terms of both food and service. We are now planning to return not just next winter, but for a summer stay. Thank you again for everything!

Located in the heart of Maurach/Eben am Achensee, opposite the MPREIS supermarket. Free outdoor parking for guests; no underground parking. The reception closes at 5:30 PM, so you'll find yourself standing in front of a locked door and have to ask for the house and room key card at the pizzeria. This wasn't mentioned in the booking confirmation 😉 I received an upgrade – thanks again – to a lovely west-facing room on the 3rd floor. The furnishings are modern and comfortable. The "Rofan Deluxe" room, at 38 square meters, is a good size and includes an infrared sauna. The floor-to-ceiling windows and the large balcony, complete with four chairs, offer a beautiful view to the west. In summer, the train passes right by, while in winter it's peaceful. The busier village road runs along the other side. In my opinion, the extra cost for a quieter room is well worth it. Minor suggestions for improvement: Only five clothes hangers for two people are insufficient. The infrared sauna is a nice idea, but I missed having instructions on how to turn off the music and change the color. Next to the reception desk, there's a shelf with books and magazines. One of them was from July 2024... The blackout curtains are very good. I think the Tyrolean stone oil shower gel, hand soap, and shampoo are a lovely, regional touch, and I like the products. The bathroom had a wooden door, wonderful, with plenty of storage space, but the hairdryer was slow. The room has a coffee machine and a special tap for drinking water. I can't comment on the soundproofing, as it wasn't very busy. I didn't hear a thing from the neighboring rooms. Unfortunately, Ö3 (Austrian radio station) plays in the large, beautiful, and bright breakfast room with a view over Maurach to the west. It's much too loud. And I don't want to listen to the news, not even at home, let alone on vacation. The breakfast buffet is fantastic: you can even squeeze your own fresh juice from oranges, carrots, apples, and ginger! Unfortunately, there's no terrace. Unfortunately, the reception was almost always unattended, so it wasn't easy to get the guest card. With the guest card, you can use the frequent regional bus free of charge, saving you a lot of money on things like cross-country ski trails! Lisa at reception is very friendly and helpful. I found the value for money to be excellent. I would gladly return and recommend the "Arthurs am Achensee." Dorfstraße 23, 6212 Eben am Achensee

100% feel-good factor! You start with beautiful, lovingly decorated entryways and are greeted by super-friendly service. We had a room with an infrared sauna. Pure wellness. The rooms were very clean, beautifully furnished, the bed was super comfortable, and there were two very cozy armchairs. The breakfast buffet has everything your heart desires. The entire service team is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Free parking is also available. There's an Italian restaurant and bar in the building. The food is "molto delizioso" (delicious) and the service is very friendly. The location is perfect. Within walking distance of Lake Achensee, the cable car, numerous restaurants, and shops. A fantastic weekend at Lake Achensee thanks to Arthur's Hotel.

The room was spacious and well heated, making it comfortable during winter. The hotel is located along a street with many food options, including a good pizzeria on site. It is about a 10-minute walk to the lake and is conveniently located near several winter slopes.

Super Hotel und sehr schöne Zimmer... Meine sogar mit Infrarot Kabine. Alle sind sehr freundlich und die Atmosphäre ist sehr familiär. Das Frühstück ist genial mit Eierspeisen und sehr freundliches Personal. Am Abend kann man super im Restaurant essen. Die beste Pizza seit langem. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Vielen Dank für das ganze Team

We had a rooftop suite with its own sauna and large terrace for four days – fantastic! The hotel is beautifully furnished, the owner and her team are incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast is excellent. We ate at the attached pizzeria twice, which we highly recommend. Also worth mentioning: free parking at the hotel, which isn't always the case anymore. We'd love to come back!

It was very nice. Unfortunately, a bit short. The room was lovely and clean! The staff was very friendly. Whether at the superb breakfast buffet, or in the evening in the restaurant or at the bar!!! Highly recommended.
