The Alpen Caravan Park Achensee is idyllically situated with direct access to the shore on the northern bank of the Achensee, the largest lake in Tyrol. The parking spaces are generously designed. The Achensee Stüberl with show kitchen, panoramic sun terrace, and winter garden, as well as modern sanitary facilities and a well-stocked shop offer first-class service and make camping at Achensee an exclusive experience. Wi-Fi is available. Seasonal pitches are offered in summer and winter. Due to the easy accessibility, the Alpen Caravan Park Achensee, along with the 1st motorhome harbor in Tyrol, is ideally suited for all campers. Parking spaces are available both in front of and behind the barrier.

Plan a route

Take the motorway A12 (toll sticker required), exit at Wiesing/Achensee and follow the Achensee federal road B181 until you reach Achenkirch. Toll-free journey is possible via Achenpass or Bad Tölz. From Munich, follow the motorway and exit at Holzkirchen, then continue via Tegernsee and Achenpass or via Bad Tölz to the national border. Follow the road to Achenkirch.

Getting here by public transport: Take the train to the train station Jenbach. From here, Lake Achensee is just a short bus ride away, see bus timetables at www.vvt.at. Your reservation confirmation is your free bus ticket to Achenkirch.

The nearest airports are Innsbruck (50km), Munich (ca. 140km), and Salzburg (ca. 150km). Zu zweit mit Fahrrad und Zelt spontan und unkompliziert ein Platz für eine Nacht während der Hauptsaison bekommen. Der Platz liegt direkt am See und ist gut erreichbar. Der Untergrund ist eben und weich genug um Heringe einfach in den Boden zu drücken. Sanitäranlagen sind gepflegt und sauber. Morgens gibt es frische Backwaren im Shop. Für knapp 32€ nichts auszusetzen!

Ja, es ist ein stolzer Preis zu zahlen aber alleine der Ausblick und der klare See mit seinen tollen Farben waren es uns wert. Ein herzlicher Empfang mit einer sehr freundlichen, immer entspannten Dame hat unseren ersten Eindruck positiv beschieden. Auch die Frage ob wir den Platz in der Kategorie nochmal wechseln können wurde statt gegeben, so daß wir 9 Tage einen unvergesslich , schönen Urlaub genießen konnten 🥰 Wir haben immer eine freie saubere Toilette vorgefunden und die Dusch/Waschräume waren immer frei und sauber, wenn wir sie nutzen wollten. Ja, die Abgrenzung des Komfort-Platzes war nicht so gestaltet, dass weitere Camper meinten gleich an unserem WoMo vorbei zu gehen, um ans Waschhaus zu kommen... Uns hat's NICHT gestört, daher keinen Sternabzug aber vielleicht der Hinweis, daß es sinnvoll wäre hier die Abgrenzungen sichtbarer zu gestalten. Der See ist das schönste Schwimmtgewässer was wir jemals gesehen bzw. beschwommen haben und ab CP selbst gibt's soviele Wandermöglichkeiten, daß man eigentlich nicht weiter weg muss. Die Rofanseilbahn mit dem Aufstieg zum Adlerhorst war allerdings unser spezielles Highlight 😍 Wir kommen sicher mal wieder rum zu Euch an den Achensee...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A beautiful campsite – we'll definitely be back in 2027! We stayed at Alpen Caravan Park Achensee from August 16th to 28th, 2026, and felt completely at home! The location is fantastic, the pitches are excellent, and the entire team is exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The sanitary facilities were always clean. The fact that they were dirty once was clearly due to the visitors themselves – after all, the team can't be running after every camper. Originally planned, we spontaneously started a day early and even extended our stay by one night. That says it all! Lake Achensee is a highlight: a paradise for children, but adults will also find plenty to do, from stand-up paddleboarding and cycling to hiking and ferry rides. A special shout-out goes to the Achenstüberl: we tried four restaurants and by far had the best and biggest Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake). Top-notch service and delicious food! We ended up starting a day early and even extended our stay by one night. A small suggestion regarding pitch 169: It was a bit of a shame that other campers sometimes walked directly across our pitch. This caused unnecessary disturbance and stress for us and our dog. On the positive side: When we asked to move, the very friendly and competent owner's daughter at reception helped us immediately and without any fuss. She also explained that they plan to make structural changes to the situation there in the future. Extremely professional and customer-oriented service! A little feedback about the bread rolls: We felt the bread rolls were a bit too expensive – especially considering how airy they were. But these are just minor issues. We sincerely thank you for the wonderful time, will definitely book again for 2027, and highly recommend it! 🏕️❤️ A very special thank you also goes to the staff who directed the pitches: super friendly and always available!

A beautiful campsite right on Lake Achensee! Friendly and helpful staff, from the groundskeeper to the restaurant – you feel right at home here. ☺️ The sanitary facilities were fantastic! 👍 We were especially impressed by the pitch on the meadow with its mountain views and the somewhat quieter surroundings – we'll definitely be back!

A fantastic campsite right on the lake with modern and very nice sanitary facilities. It's fully booked during peak season, so the camping area can get a bit crowded. The sanitary facilities are therefore always busy, and the cleaning staff do their best to keep everything clean. There's Wi-Fi on site, and you can get bread rolls without pre-ordering from the shop. The staff are very friendly, but there's little to no shade. In our opinion, the prices are a bit high. We had a relaxing and enjoyable time here.

14 Tage Campingurlaub. Top Parzelle. Top Lage. Immer saubere Sanitäranlagen. 2 Mankos. Viel zu wenig Toiletten, es ist kein großer Platz, aber eine zweit Einrichtung wäre schon toll. Was auch nicht ganz so toll ist, ist das absolut keine Animation angeboten wurde. Trotzdem wird dieser Campingplatz uns noch öfters ertragen müssen. Es war ein klasse Urlaub.
