A fantastic place right in the heart of nature, I can highly recommend it. The staff is simply superb, very, very friendly and helpful, always there for you no matter what. And as I said, Lake Achensee is beautiful at any time of year!

We had a wonderful pitch right by the lake. The sanitary facilities are a bit dated but clean. Okay, the chemical toilet could be a little further away from the sinks. If you're looking for peace and quiet and enjoy cycling, hiking, and swimming, this is the perfect place. A big plus is the bus stop, which is right next to the campsite, just up by the road. We'd love to come back! 😁

Simply beautiful here, the staff is very friendly, the premium pitches in the front row are wonderfully situated by the lake, with only a strip of tent area in front of you. The sanitary facilities were clean every day. I'm not a fan of shower curtains, but oh well. They're perfectly adequate for showering. If the toilets are spruced up at some point, then in my opinion there won't be anything to complain about. I'd gladly come back again 😎 Update June 2026 A lot has changed for the better. The washing facilities and toilets have been nicely renovated. The shower curtains have been replaced with shower screens. Only campers with a chip can access the sanitary facilities now, which is a benefit to the already daily cleaning. Swimmers now have their own separate toilet. It's great that things are always being improved here. I've already booked again for August.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights at one of the campsites right by the water. Sanitary facilities, washing-up sinks, the rubbish bin, and the snack bar (serving food until 6 pm) were all within easy walking distance. Electricity is available upon request (extension cords are provided!). The staff was very friendly. From the campsites (especially Z1 and Z2), there was direct access to the lake. We left feeling very refreshed and would love to come back!

Ein sehr idyllischer Zeltplatz direkt am See und direkt am Fahrradweg. Das Personal war ebenfalls ausgesprochen nett! Ich freue mich schon darauf irgendwann zurück zu kommen.

Unfortunately, I can't give a review of the campsite itself, as we were only passing through. However, we can absolutely recommend the restaurant/café at the campsite! We only intended to have a coffee and ended up there quite by chance. The cake was delicious, and the cappuccino was excellent. Friendly service and a lovely atmosphere – perfect for a short break on the road.
