The Achensee transforms into the venue for Europe's largest splitboard test event.
The program combines group tours with practical workshops and sessions. Experienced mountain guides impart knowledge about avalanche awareness, avalanche beacon search, first aid, navigation, and tour planning – always aiming to convey content clearly and apply it directly in the field. New in the festival program are the Brand Sessions. Here, the people behind the brands give insights into their philosophy, the development of their products, and the considerations behind different shapes, constructions, and areas of use. Additionally, there is the opportunity to rent equipment throughout the entire festival weekend and get to know it in the field.
