Achensee via ferrata camp
The Achensee Via Ferrata Camp, run by qualified mountain & ski guides, offers both beginners and advanced climbers the opportunity to learn about planning, technique and equipment.
ITINERARY
Friday, 18 June
- Until 08.30 Check-in at Hotel Klingler in Maurach
- 08.30 Introduction of participants & division into small groups at Hotel Klingler in Maurach
- 09.30 Via ferrata safety tips: equipment check and introduction to via ferrata climbing at the via ferrata Christlumsiedlung
- Approx. 13.00 Stop for refreshments
- 14.00 Practice of the correct technique at the via ferrata Felix & Charlotte
- Afterwards, return to Hotel
- 18.30 Group dinner
- 20.30 Lecture on equipment & alpine safety
Saturday, 19 June
- 07.30 Group breakfast
- 08.30 Ascent with the Rofan cable car in Maurach, followed by a hike to the Achensee 5-peak via ferrata. The session includes technical exercises, tips and code of conduct in the mountains.
- Stop for refreshments at a mountain hut
- Free time
- 18.30 Group dinner
- 20.30 Tour planning
Sunday, 20 June
- 07.30 Group breakfast
- Afterwards, check-out at Hotel Klingler
- 08.30 Final tour: exploring with etiquette and respecting nature
- Approx. 16.00 Return to hotel and individual departure

2 nights with half board at Hotel Klingler in Maurach, round trips with the Rofan cable car, small groups led by state-certified mountain and ski guides, goodie bag, photos of the participants
Appropriate fitness level, head for heights. Suitable for beginners and advanced climbers. Courses will be held in German, advanced language skills required.
