Achensee autumn programme for kids

From 5 October to 6 November 2026, the Achensee autumn programme offers unforgettable experiences for the entire family. When the surrounding forests are cloaked in vibrant autumn colours, the region is at its most beautiful. Majestic Alpine peaks, turquoise waters, and a wide range of attractions make Lake Achensee the ideal spot for a family autumn break. Look forward to diverse activities, exciting adventures, and delightful moments in the heart of nature.

The Achensee children’s programme took place from 5 October to 6 November 2026.

In the bakery with master baker Alexander

Monday: Join us for a truly special experience at the bakery. Alexander will show us around his bakery and teach us how to bake fresh bread rolls, which we can then enjoy together during a delicious picnic.

The day starts early in the morning at the Adler bakery in Achenkirch. Children learn how to make bread rolls.

A journey through time with Wusel

On Wednesday, Wusel the Water Spirit invites you on a special journey to the Sixenhof - a historic farm where legendary tales, fun, and excitement await. Immerse yourselves in Wusel’s enchanted world and help him solve the mystery.

Lantern walk for the whole family

Thursday: Light up the night! As soon as darkness falls over Lake Achensee, we set off on an evening walk carrying our self-crafted lanterns. Accompanied by Wusel the Water Spirit, it is a truly magical experience for parents and children alike!
