It is possible to travel to Achenkirch without tolls via the Achen Pass. From Munich to the motorway exit Holzkirchen, Tegernsee, Achenpass, or Bad Tölz – crossing the state border into Achenkirch.

Inntal Autobahn A12 (toll sticker required), exit Wiesing/Achensee, Achensee Federal Road B181, after 14 kilometers you will reach Achenkirch.
Traveling by public transport: Take the train to Jenbach station. From there, take the public bus to Lake Achensee. See bus schedule www.vvt.at. The journey to Lake Achensee is free when presenting your reservation confirmation.

The nearest airports are Innsbruck (about 50km), Munich (about 140km), and Salzburg (about 150km).
