The toboggan run on the Zwölferkopf winds its way down to Pertisau, affording beautiful views of Lake Achensee. The Karwendel cable car transports visitors effortlessly up the mountain to the start of the toboggan run.
The toboggan run starts right next to the top station. At the beginning, keep to the left edge of the Jochlift practice slope. At the end of the piste, the toboggan run branches off to the left into the forest and descends to the valley station of the Karwendel cable car in Pertisau by way of switchbacks, running past a radio mast and affording spectacular views.
There are two toboggan hire shops at the valley station of the Karwendel cable car.
