Once one of Austria’s most iconic and beloved ski mountaineering events, this legendary race returns to deliver the same adrenaline-pumping competition and unforgettable memories that made it a must for winter sports enthusiasts. The stunning Rofan region will once again set the stage for epic battles on skis. For years, the Rofan Night Ascent has attracted ski touring fans from near and far. Now, it’s getting a new twist! Since 2025, it has been part of the new event lineup as the Rofan Ascent – Vertical Race, keeping the spirit alive with a new name but the same thrilling challenge. The Rofan Night Ascent will not take place in 2026.
