The tour starts at Hotel Fischerwirt in Achenkirch and leads in the direction of Hinterwinkl, past the riverbed of the Oberaubach to the Stod waterfall. 
The hike takes around 2.5 hours and is guided by trained rangers and nature park guides from the Nature Park Karwendel.  Registrations must be received by 18:00 online at www.achensee.com/en/book-experiences on the day before.
