Wow! What a mountain jewel, what a place of longing!

The 400-year-old Mesnerhof in lovely Steinberg am Rofan had long been on the verge of decay. We have made it our mission to preserve this alpine gem and develop it into an inspiring retreat for communities.

Of the three Mesnerhof buildings, the main house with the former living quarters of the farmers (CABIN for 10 people) and the former hayloft (CAMP for up to 27 people) have been renovated so far. Both are successful blends of old and new - the farmers' cabin simple and straightforward, the camp cool & rough. Together, they form a community retreat based on super self-sufficiency for up to 37 people - unique in the Alps.

The use ranges from workshops to yoga retreats to DIY weddings. Naturally, our house is particularly popular with everyone who wants to experience a cozy gathering with friends & family in the Tyrolean mountains.
