The tour starts at the avalanche beacon checkpoint Hubertus and leads along the ski slope Perchertal (please ascend on the edge) to the Bärenbadalm (1,457m). From there, follow the summer hiking path into the forest in a westerly direction and traverse the large trough. Walk along the ridge and leave the forest, then cross the wide slope to the left or climb to the right to the Bärenhalsl to the foresummit and follow the flat stretch to the summit.
The descent follows the ascent route.
