The route leads from Pertisau alongside the lake to Maurach, then past the leisure centre Atoll Achensee before it continues along the Achensee cycle path no. 29 towards Achenkirch and to the northern lakeshore. The route is mostly flat with a short ascent before Camping Schwarzenau. The return is via the same route.
