A12 Inntal Autobahn (vignette required), Wiesing / Achensee exit, Achensee main road B181, after 7 kilometers turn in the center of Maurach to Pertisau. Toll-free arrival via the Achenpass or Bad Tölz is also possible. From Munich to the Holzkirchen, Tegernsee, Achenpass or Bad Tölz motorway exit - across the state border via Achenkirch and Maurach to Pertisau.

Arrival by public transport: By train to Jenbach train station. From there by public bus to Achensee.

This was our second stay at the Hotel Kristall in Pertisau. Both times it was simply phenomenal. Upon arrival, you receive a very warm and friendly welcome at reception. The rooms were spotless, and the view was breathtaking. The food is of a very high standard and truly delicious. The spa area, recently renovated, is simply sensational; the sky panorama sauna and the infinity pool are simply dreamy. The service is also very attentive and friendly.

A truly wonderful wellness hotel with views of the mountains and Lake Achensee. Since last summer, the hotel has been significantly enhanced by the new wellness area, featuring a sky sauna, sky infinity pool, and panoramic sauna on the roof. A beautiful swimming pond has also been added. But the "old" area, with its many saunas, steam room, infrared cabin, and more, is equally inviting and perfect for relaxation. The rooms are lovely, modern, and spacious, and the food at the hotel is absolutely delicious! A glass of sparkling wine awaits you at the bar upon arrival, and best of all, you can check into your room as early as 11:00 AM at no extra charge. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

We had a fantastic stay and are absolutely thrilled! We were greeted by the incredibly friendly staff upon arrival. The entire team was always attentive, helpful, and incredibly courteous. You immediately sense that hospitality is truly paramount here. No matter what our request, it was taken care of immediately, always with a smile and genuine warmth. The food was simply outstanding – truly excellent! Every meal was a delight. The dishes were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The quality of the ingredients and the creativity in the preparation were clearly evident. Whether breakfast or dinner, everything was fresh, varied, and prepared with great attention to detail. A huge compliment to the kitchen! An absolute highlight is the beautiful spa area. Here you can perfectly relax and leave everyday life completely behind. Everything is very stylishly designed, clean, and well-maintained. The tranquil atmosphere invites you to unwind and feel completely at ease. They've truly thought of everything to ensure you can fully relax. The rooms are also very beautiful and exceptionally clean. The furnishings are tasteful, modern, and cozy at the same time. You feel right at home. The cleanliness was particularly noteworthy; everything was impeccable and very well-maintained. Great emphasis is clearly placed on order and comfort. Overall, nothing was left to be desired. Our stay was simply perfect, and we would love to return. A huge thank you to the entire hotel team!

This was our fifth stay at the Kristall, and we'd love to come back again. Everything just fits together perfectly. The hotel has a very welcoming, family atmosphere. Everyone is very attentive and accommodating. The food is fantastic, the rooms are beautiful and clean, the new spa area is wonderful, and the treatments are professional. All of this in a stunning setting.

We were incredibly impressed with everything. It's a place of relaxation and a culinary delight. We were fortunate enough to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary at Verwöhnkristall. We had four wonderful, relaxing days. The friendliness of everyone was particularly noteworthy. From the owner to the sommelier to the cleaning staff, everyone always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. The spa area was perfect – a fantastic place to unwind 👍👍. The candlelight dinner in the vaulted cellar was amazing, not to mention the breakfast buffet, which left nothing to be desired. We will definitely be back, and the long journey was absolutely worth it. Warm greetings from Germany to Austria…

A very beautiful hotel in a quiet location. Pure nature is right nearby. We received a very warm welcome, and all our wishes were fulfilled to our complete satisfaction. The room is stylishly furnished with great attention to detail. Everything was always spotless. The food is first-class! A very high standard. The bar also left nothing to be desired, and the decor there is also very elegant. In the evenings, we enjoyed live music and were truly enchanted by the magician Ben Hyven. The spa area offers something for everyone, and great emphasis has been placed on the appropriate decor. I would especially like to mention the exceptional sauna infusions by sauna master Abu. They were magnificent. We are already looking forward to our next stay at the enchanting Achensee and the first-class Hotel Kristall.

We stayed at the hotel for two days (one night) last weekend. On the positive side, all the staff, except for our main waiter at dinner, were very, very friendly. We had a room in the annex, which is about 200 meters from the main hotel. It was one of the cheapest rooms, so the furniture was a bit dated, but it was clean, and perfectly adequate for us since we spent the day in the spa area. :) The spa was fantastic! Everything was very well-maintained, a large part of it was brand new, and very tastefully decorated. It wasn't too busy on Thursday and Friday until early afternoon; it got too crowded for us on Friday afternoon, but we were leaving then anyway. Activities are offered every day (snowshoeing, yoga, meditation, etc.). The afternoon snack and breakfast were excellent in terms of selection. Breakfast, in particular, had everything from fresh waffles and omelets to pastries, salmon, and freshly squeezed orange juice! ... Now for the minor negative points: Our head waiter entered our dining area with the clearly ironic words, "I love it when everyone arrives at once," and a rolling of his eyes. He also seemed noticeably annoyed with us and the next table across from us, as we were the new arrivals, because he had to briefly explain that we would have the same table the next morning, etc. That's completely unacceptable! The table across from us then also complained about this waiter—we acknowledged their point with nods but didn't say anything further. The gala dinner was definitely not for me! The courses were okay, but certainly not a culinary highlight. Furthermore, all guests were scheduled for 6:30–6:45 p.m., and by the time the seven courses were finished, it was 9:15 p.m. We had actually wanted to go to the spa area after dinner, but by then it wasn't worth it at all. We would have much preferred a buffet because you can choose what you want to eat and it would only take an hour instead of sitting there for almost three hours… All in all, a lovely hotel with very friendly staff (except for the one exception mentioned), a great spa area, and good value for money. We deducted one star simply because of the gala dinner. Even setting aside the waiter, it was far too long for us, and the food wasn't anything special. We'll definitely try to avoid it next time.
