Pension Englhof

Englhof, the special house near the lake, lift, and slopes!
The special house near the lake, lift, and slopes. In a quiet, sunny panoramic location with a magnificent view of the mountains. The owners personally care for your well-being. Under the motto: "Relax with enjoyment," you can unwind in nature with a guided hike, or simply close your eyes and relax with a massage. Since the "youngest" are the "most important" here, there is plenty of space and games for them.
Hiking trails, Christlum lifts, and access to the slopes are in immediate proximity.

Very clean guesthouse with beautifully renovated rooms, a very good breakfast (a wide selection), and a friendly owner who offers great excursion ideas. Overall, a somewhat older house, but very cozy. Carport, e-bike charging, sauna, and fitness center, all included in the price - GREAT! Very good restaurants within walking distance. Only two minor drawbacks: - The weak coffee from the thermos at breakfast could be replaced with a coffee machine. - Our bathroom was really old, with hardly any storage or hanging space.

We felt completely at home at Pension Engelhof. Mrs. Widner is an incredibly friendly hostess – she gives great tips for excursions in the surrounding area, prepares breakfast herself, and even asks personally whether you're feeling well or what you did the day before. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and functionally furnished. The breakfast was excellent – fresh, plentiful, and prepared with lots of love. The family atmosphere makes the stay particularly pleasant. We would definitely love to come back!

We stayed at the Hotel Englhof for a week and were completely satisfied. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. In the morning, she always asked us what fun things we wanted to do, and she always gave us a little tip. You can really tell that the two of them put their heart and soul into it. The view is beautiful, and Lake Archensee is a 5-minute walk away. Bicycles are safely locked overnight, and there are several power outlets for e-bikes. We felt comfortable and would love to come back! Unfortunately, we have to deduct one point because the rooms are a bit noisy. Wi-Fi: top Rooms: very clean View: top Leisure activities: top Restaurant: everything is easily accessible on foot A little tip: the SeeEck restaurant is highly recommended.

We were here last year and were happy to return. The only drawback is the federal highway, but you notice it everywhere else in Achenkirch. The Englhof guesthouse is very well run. The rooms are clean, bright, and have a TV and a bathroom. The balcony is perfect for enjoying the evening sun or hanging your hiking gear out to dry. There's a fitness room, sauna, and a lovely garden. Parking is available right next to the house, some of which are even covered. You can walk safely to the lake and restaurants through an underpass. You can start hiking directly from the guesthouse—for example, to the Gaisalmsteig or Köglalm. The breakfast is very good—rolls, homemade jams, muesli, etc.
