Welcome to Fasslreiter in Achenkirch.

The apartments are quietly located on the old village road. A bus stop is directly in front of the house; with the guest card, you can travel for free to Steinberg, Pertisau, and Jenbach. Hikers will find many routes to start walking right by the house. Cross-country skiers can access the local cross-country trails (classical and skating) nearby. Skiers can reach the Christlum ski area in 5 minutes with the regional bus. The center is about a 10-minute walk away. We look forward to your inquiries and wishes and are happy to welcome you.

Plan a route

Take the motorway A12 (toll sticker required), exit at Wiesing/Achensee and follow the Achensee federal road B181 until you reach Achenkirch. Toll-free journey is possible via Achenpass or Bad Tölz. From Munich, follow the motorway and exit at Holzkirchen, then continue via Tegernsee and Achenpass or via Bad Tölz to the national border. Follow the road to Achenkirch.

Getting here by public transport: Take the train to the train station Jenbach. From here, Lake Achensee is just a short bus ride away, see bus timetables at www.vvt.at. Your reservation confirmation is your free bus ticket to Achenkirch.

The nearest airports are Innsbruck (50km), Munich (ca. 140km), and Salzburg (ca. 150km). You can pre-book transfers to and from all airports with Taxi Kröll in Maurach, Tel. +43(5243)43280, www.taxikroell.com or with the airport transfer service Four Seasons Travel Tel. +43(512)584157, www.tirol-taxi.at.

Very nice vacation apartment! Very friendly landlords, quiet location. Apartment 3 is perfectly adequate for a vacation in the mountains by the lake. Everything is newly built. We would love to come back!

I had the 24m² "vacation apartment" Landlord: Very friendly, helpful, and accommodating Bedroom: Nice, practical Mattresses very good (200x80 cm) Window does not offer a mountain view (ground floor, facing the street); only one flap can be opened. Earplugs are essential for a good night's sleep; even though the room is directly on a fairly quiet street, traffic noises can still intrude on even the sweetest dreams. Bathroom: Elegant, technically sound, well-equipped Huge window facing the street (curtains provided), only one flap can be opened Living Room: No such thing. If they had opted for a loft instead of a separate bedroom, there would have been no retreat but significantly more living space. Kitchen/Hallway: Small, practical, technically sound, well-equipped, with seating Interior, so no window The The German's refuge, the television, is mounted here (at a height of about two meters). Six of the 24m² are located in the hallway. Conclusion: It seems that a lot of effort was made not too long ago to acquire living space in order to be able to offer this "vacation apartment." Accordingly, everything is still new and clean, but unfortunately, outside of the bedroom and bathroom, it has the feel of a temporary solution. I stayed here for three days, and the weather was good, so I actually only had to stay overnight. You can't live here, nor can you really cook in the kitchen; you have to ventilate via the bathroom or bedroom (and there, only the hatch opens), and the existing "extractor" unfortunately only serves as a grease trap by recirculating air. The listing advertised a view of a landmark, but it was probably my car, which I was allowed to park right in front of the bedroom ;-) (in reality, it's a house with traditional facade painting and a satellite dish attached).
