What makes us special? It's very simple: centrally located, the mountains and Lake Achensee (almost) on your doorstep. Lovingly furnished and with more than just the necessary equipment. You can arrive relaxed and simply feel at home in the newly renovated Dorfapartment right from the start.
Our apartment is located in the center of Maurach. Shops such as supermarkets, a bakery and a butcher as well as many restaurants and cafés are only a few minutes away.
For those who are motivated to move and those looking for relaxation. Whether as a single or as a couple. We are the perfect starting point for your hike or bike tour in the Achensee mountains, just a few minutes walk to the Rofan ski area or you can go cross-country skiing after just a 3 minutes walk.
The bus stop for the public and ski bus is right next to the house.

Since summer 2021, we have been renting out a lovingly designed part of our 120-year-old house in the heart of Maurach as Dorfapartment Achensee. As locals, we know the region inside out and are happy to provide you with insider knowledge and top tips for unforgettable experiences. During your stay, we are on hand with help and advice at all times and always have an open ear for your wishes.

Our Dorfapartment Achensee is located in Dorfstraße 12, 6212 Maurach in a large, yellowish house with a drugstore and a sports store on the ground floor.
Via the Inntal freeway A12 (toll sticker required), exit Wiesing/Achensee, Achensee-Bundesstraße B181 you reach the center of Maurach after 7 kilometers.
It is also possible to travel toll-free via the Achenpass or Bad Tölz. From Munich to the highway exit Holzkirchen, Tegernsee, Achenpass or Bad Tölz - over the state border via Achenkirch further to Maurach.
Arrival by public transport: By train to Jenbach train station. From there take the public bus to Achensee. Check the bus timetable www.vvt.at. The arrival to the Achensee is free of charge by showing your reservation confirmation.
The nearest airports are Innsbruck (approx. 50km), Munich (approx. 140km) and Salzburg (approx. 150km).
