Wiesing is particularly characterized by its good location in the Tyrolean lowlands. A perfect starting point for trips to the Achen & Zillertal as well as Alpbach & Inntal. In less than 15 minutes you can reach the breathtaking Achensee and the Kramsach lake area by car.
In winter you will find numerous ski areas such as the Rofan Seilbahn & Karwendel-Bergbahn ski area, Hochalmlifte Christlum, the Spieljochbahn-Hochfügen-Hochzilletral ski area in Zillertal and the Skijuwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau ski area practically on your doorstep, so easily reachable in 10-20 minutes.
The Tyrolean state capital Innsbruck with its enchanting old town can be reached in 30 minutes.
