Whether in summer for hiking, mountain biking, swimming, sailing, surfing, or kitesurfing, paragliding or climbing, winter is no less appealing than summer: winter hiking, cross-country skiing starting right in front of the house, ski touring, or skiing down the slopes of the surrounding ski areas, tobogganing, curling, or ice skating.

The split-level building, designed by the award-winning Tyrolean architect, offers a unique living space climate with its partially up to 6 meters high ceilings.
In addition to the spacious living room with panoramic windows and a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains and Lake Achensee, there is a living area with a large smart TV and video-beamer.
Relax in the top-equipped open-space kitchen, at the long dining table, on the terrace during a BBQ, around the fireplace...
We had the vision of building an open courtyard towards the lake, and realized a house with three interwoven building blocks. A retreat and rest place. The project has matured over many years and was completed in 2021. We love to travel and welcome international guests. German, English, Spanish, Korean, and some Italian are spoken. Oliver lives in the same house with his family and looks forward to welcome you.

Take the motorway A12 (toll sticker required), exit at Wiesing/Achensee and follow the Achensee federal road B181 until you reach Maurach after 7 kilometres. Toll-free journey is possible via Achenpass or Bad Tölz. From Munich, follow the motorway and exit at Holzkirchen, then continue via Tegernsee and Achenpass or via Bad Tölz to the national border. Follow the road to Achenkirch and drive to Maurach.
Getting here by public transport: Take the traain to the train station Jenbach. From here, Lake Achensee is just a short bus ride away, see bus timetables at www.vvt.at. Your reservation confirmation is your free bus ticket to Maurach.
The nearest airports are Innsbruck (50km), Munich (ca. 140km), and Salzburg (ca. 150km).
