The Sixenhof Local Heritage Museum opens the summer season with an open house.
Visitors have the opportunity to gain insights into the lives of people in the Achental from 1880 to 1963. On three floors, numerous exhibits provide exciting insights into the lives of the people in Achental. Exhibitions on crafts, hunting and fishing, forestry, Achensee shipping, and many other themes tell the story and traditions of the region. In addition, the May Festival of the Young Farmers’ Association Achenkirch takes place around the museum with a morning pint in the heated festival tent.
