Violin, cello, and grooves from classical to jazz & indie rock
For many years, they have celebrated international successes with the Feuerbach Quartet, and now they have joined forces in a new duo: Max Eisinger (violin) and Lukas Kroczek (cello) – in short: MAKRO
Radical rhythms meet colorful harmonies, virtuosic improvisations encounter catchy refrains. The program is expanded with arrangements of classical originals such as Johan Halvorsen's “Passacaglia,” Bach's “Goldberg Variations,” Tchaikovsky's “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy,” as well as jazz standards by Thelonious Monk, Charlie Parker, and Django Reinhardt.
