Small, yet perfectly formed and offering plenty of diversity – the ski areas around Achensee are like. Due to the vast number of broad pistes, the ski areas in Achensee are especially suited to families. Yet fans of carving and snowboarders also hold the range on offer in high regard. The Christlum lift in Achenkirch, the Rofan cable car in Maurach, the Karwendel cable car in Pertisau and the lifts in Steinberg and Wiesing provide a total of 30 ascent aids and access to 58 kilometres of pistes up to an altitude of around 1900 metres.
The ski schools in the region offer courses for every level – from private lessons to weekly courses. Even the very young can have lots of fun learning to ski in any of our ski-schools in the region.
