Downhill skiing at Lake Achensee
Four ski areas with a total of 53 kilometres of pistes, two practice terrains and an extensive programme for the whole family provide unlimited winter fun.
Perfectly suited for the whole family
The ski areas at Lake Achensee are small-scale, yet full of variety, and perfect for families who share the wide slopes with carving fans and snowboarders. The Christlum lifts in Achenkirch, the Rofan cable car in Maurach, the Karwendel cable car in Pertisau and the lifts in Steinberg and Wiesing offer 30 lifts to access 53 kilometres of slopes on altitudes up to 1900 metres.
The six ski schools in the region offer courses for every ability level – from private lessons to weekly courses. Even tiny tots can have lots of fun learning to ski at one of our local ski schools.
