Your free VVT ticket Tirol
From 1 September 2025, residents and employees in the Achensee region who have an active Achensee DahoamCard will be able to travel through Tirol by bus and train for free up to two times a month. Achensee Tourism, in collaboration with local authorities, is providing three transferable VVT tickets for Tirol that can be borrowed online. This initiative not only supports locals and employees in the region but also encourages the use of sustainable transport - a clear step towards protecting our climate. 🌍💚
- To reserve a VVT ticket, you first need to register or log in on the job-life.achensee.com website to get access to the Job-Life Achensee experience shop.
- Registration: You only need to register once on the website. You'll need your full name, date of birth, active DahoamCard number, email, and a password. You can also add your phone number and employer.
- Login: If you're already registered with Job-Life Achensee, just log in with your username and password.
- DahoamCard: If you don't have a DahoamCard, the website explains how to apply for a Dohoam Card.
- Reserve your ticket through the Job-Life Achensee experience shop no later than 07:00 on the day you want to pick it up.
- The VVT ticket can be used for two consecutive days, from 08:00 to 08:00 each day, and you can borrow one up to twice a month.
- Collecting and returning the VVT ticket:
- Collection: Pick up your ticket on the reserved date starting at 08:00 at the Welcome-CENTER Achensee in Maurach. Make sure to bring your reservation confirmation, DahoamCard, and ID (a copy is fine). You cannot pick up the ticket the day before. 👉 When you pick up the ticket, you'll need to sign a consent form agreeing to the regulations. Minors will need a parent's consent.
- Return: The ticket must be returned by 08:00 after the two-day period. You can return it directly to the Welcome-CENTER Achensee or use the drop-off box in the entrance of Atoll Achensee.
Example: If you reserve the ticket for a Friday, it's valid from 08:00 on Friday until 08:00 on Sunday, regardless of when you pick it up. The usage period won't be extended if you collect it later, like on Friday afternoon.
The VVT monthly ticket is valid on all trains within Tirol, including the WESTbahn.
If you've selected the wrong date or no longer need the ticket, you can easily cancel your reservation. Just send an email to info@achensee.com with the following information:
- Your first and last name
Your DahoamCard number
We will then remove the reservation from our system.
We ask you to be honest and reliable by returning the ticket on time. If you do not, we will have to charge the following fees:
- Late return: A fee of EUR 50 will be charged for each day the ticket is not returned.
- Lost ticket: You will be charged EUR 118 to replace the ticket.
These fees must be paid in person at the Welcome-CENTER Achensee.
👉 We enforce these rules to ensure the next person who has reserved the ticket can use it as planned.
👉 If the ticket is frequently returned late or not returned at all, we will have to exclude you from the VVT ticket programme.
With a VVT ticket, you can enjoy discounted parking at the Jenbach parking garage. How it works:

- To pay, scan the 2-D code on your transport ticket at the station before you leave.
- The parking fee will be calculated automatically.
