Expert and leisure skiers get to experience the idyllic Achensee region on sit-ski equipment on 46.5 km of tracks. Guests with all abilities can enjoy Nordic skiing as a leisurely outing or a vigorous sport, and it allows athletes to explore the wonderful landscape.

Details for all routes at Lake Achensee with distances and elevation profiles can be found at maps.achensee.com. Eight tracks have been tested for their suitability for adaptive cross-country skiing and cover 46.5 km on elevations of 900 to 1000 metres above sea levels. These “snow roads” have snow-making capability and are well-groomed from mid-December to mid-April.

Equipment is available to hire at Sport Leithner in Pertisau. The ski school Leithner also provides local guides and instructors.
